Shows you how much a tune can change things. I sold my buddy my old 5.7 300c and picked up a srt8 300c 2006 and gapped him way harder than this. since then i threw in a cam long tube headers and corsa catbacks with a cat delete now his 5.7 seems like a 90s civic lol.

Absolutely! Tunes go a long way with a Gen 3. It feels good to hear that, because I’d never had the chance to go up against one until now. Wasn’t sure if I was above average or not lmao. Sounds like you have one beast of a SRT8. I wouldn’t be able to stand having my car sound like a civic 😭

@@justanother300 just got me a colorado tune today on mine gained about 60 hp and changed the shift parameters, sitting at 442.67 whp now totally different car lol.

And that’s the difference between 100 extra hp

Not really. 5.7 has 365hp Stock, SRT8 425hp Stock. I could tell 5.7 was tuned by the jump

I tried to find a 6.1 but damn there so hard to find around my parts so I settled for a 5.7

You probably need to start blurring your speedo to avoid trouble with the laws. I’ve seen some youtubers get in trouble before. Good shit though.

hey man, I was wondering if you notice any difference with the blue top solenoids? because I was planning on doing it as well, I think I have a problem with my valve body so I might just replace the whole valve body, but was just wondering if you had noticed any difference with the blue tops

Absolutely. The transmission feels more accurate. Gears never slip. Everything falls into place very snappy. It’s analog. I say it’s worth it.

I can turn it on or off. A tuner did it. You can grab any diablosport handheld and do it. I used to have a Predator 2 before getting a custom tune and it worked flawlessly.

Yeah I think the 6.1 was playing tho because if you look at his speedo going up (The guy in the video) it's going up way slower then a srt8 and he was basically beside him, if you now go look on youtube of a 0-125 video, it's a big difference, if the 6.1 was running up to standard, the gap would of been 2x bigger lol

I absolutely plan on the headers. Looking at Kooks. No idea when the funds will be there for me to get it, but hopefully in the next year. I’ll look at a throttle body spacer! Thank you for the recommendations! And thanks for checking out the vid 🔥
