Just drove a Chrysler srt-8 and let me tell you it was loads of fun! you can literally pull up next to anyone and they think you’re in a grandpop car until you fly by them and the luxury and ride quality was amazing! going to be selling my wrx and a few other toys to pick one of them bad boys up!

Have one love it 2006 srt8 Chrysler but stuck on selling it for a challenger

I guess that's the reason why it's called SRT8 regardless if it's old it has 425 horsepower 425 torque that bich is still a beast

I owned a 300 with a HEMI, I loved it and wish I still had it. You would have these kids pull up beside you and it would sound like a four or six cylinder with a few holes drilled in the muffle. Couldn’t even here what was quietly rumbling next to them, take off and just give enough gas to stay right by them for a few secs and make them feel like the got a chance and then light it up 😂

Man those 300’s are a damn sweet ride. Ya got muscle under the hood and nothing but plush on the inside. They threaten about every year to discontinue them. I hope they go on as long as they can.

I love my 300! That's all I'll say. My next car...definitely another 300. Much cheaper. Lighter. Less insurance. Same beast.

Still hunting for a 300 SRT8 with under 100k and well taken care of. I fell in love with the 300 back in 2005 when they released. I just loved the idea of a 5.7 hemi in a luxury sedan. Unfortunately where I'm from the 300 SRT8s that have popped up are questionable.

The closest I have to an SRT-8 is a Hemi C. I might put a supercharger in it eventually.

I love the Hellcat Challenger. It is my dream car. But honestly, the 300 SRT8 is just beyond Badass. It's like the ultimate American luxury car that you can race on the weekends when the wife and kids are at home. And if you rolled up on a kid who challenges you while the wife and kids are in the car, shame on them... They would get smoked... wish this were still a new option in the states. But sadly the 5.7 is the most you can get now. I have heard rumours of Chrysler discontinuing the 300 altogether. This is the car that brought it all back after Lee saved the brand with the K Car. I remember when this car debuted and I thought maybe, just maybe... this is the Mopar we all needed. And I was right. It spawned so many variants. But the Srt8 will always be the most desired.

High 12,s for the Cat is slow for them. The 300 did a nice burnout to heat those tires up, but whoever was driving the Dodge did not. My mostly stock 6.1 Challengr does high 12,s lol

Mr. Glass House yes it’s stock. A lot of bonestock 6.1 300’s were in the 12’s. My best with my 06 when stock was 13.1. Best with a CAI and diablo was 12.90 on skinny all season tires. A better tire and 60ft time(and better driver😀) and it could have gone mid 12’s

I got 13.12 with a Hyundai genesis r-spec sedan that only pushes 429 HP.

I've had my 300 SRT8 for about 6 years now and can say it's the most fun vehicle I've ever daily driven. I'm a drag racer with a much more powerful Mustang but on the road, this thing is a thrill! I'd like to try out a Hellcat with the right key though...!!

@@thakideli2994 I have about 120K and have had no major issues but some of the smaller issues were; front suspension component wear along with struts (around 90K miles, not unreasonable), shifter locked up once due to cheap plastic internals (a small spring mount broke), ac went out at around 85K.

Street tires on a Hellcat at the strip? 😂 These vids kill me. Hell I can run that on my street tires ON THE STREET! Of course my 'Cat is not stock but it is a manual so typically a little slower in the 1/4 than the no physical skill needed auto. Ive only used the Black key one time. Its supposed to be 500hp( a little more than an SRT8) with my mods probably a little more, and the car felt like it was Broken! I was scared to drive it because it felt sooo much weaker. I thought it might damage something. Used the Red Key again and boom it was alive again. 17lbs boost, CAI, Borla ATAK exhaust, ID 1050x inj, tune for 93😳(pushing the limit on pump), light Forgeline wheels, race clutch, Barton shifter, Nitto 555 G2(spin monsters) on the rear. I really like the SRT8 models on the street. A 6.4L 300 would be a great daily driver with some getup and go for occasional blasts. Stock against stock ok i get it but put some sticky rubber on both with good drivers. Then we will see what the true(honest) difference is. Id like to see that race👍

Wish my brother wasnt a traitor so i could try to help him fix his crashed srt8 .. and show him i never 💩 on him why you run with the enemy ..guess i never seen it cause he was the one closest to me .. as i go on theres nothing to explain everything makes sense like him happy about someone making me fall .. meanwhile ill go blind to fight a group who hurt and robbed him .. even if i got my azz handed to me its about the point noone harms my brother.but sometimes the feelings you have for someone else isnt the same get in return .. had to learn that the hard way..

They're hard to come by, I was lucky to get a 1 owner 70k miles and only 12k. The only downside is you get about 13 mpg overall on premium

Robbe Mosley they must have been higher elevation or bad DA since my old 06 300srt8 could do 12.90’s all day on skinny all seasons. It did have a CAI and a canned tune. Bonestock it ran 13.1.

Autopia Alana Lewis as a former owner of a 6.1L 300srt8 I assure you there are quite a few that ran high 12’s stock but high 12’s to low 13’s was the norm. There are posts on 300c forum as well as LXforum with a 1/4 mile fast list for the 300srt8. I had mine to the track many times and never ran slower than a low 13 when stock(typical DA was 1200-2000). The 6.4 L car is a mid to high 12 car with a decent driver. I don’t usually go by magazine times since most folks who actually track their cars should have no problem beating a magazine time, but even car and driver ran a 13.1 in 2006 with the 300srt.
