Wow that Cat is one sweet looking boat. I love the older ‘vintage’ boats especially when they are restored like the great job you guys did. I recently acquired a 2004 Ranger 185VS w/150hp Yamaha and fixed it up to ‘make it my own’ also. These ‘older’ boats were built better and certainly more affordable than the ‘so called’ new ones. Keep up the good work acquiring, restoring and selling these boats!

I think you should wrap it, you did such a great job the first time you used wrap! Do it even better this time

try absorbing acid. mix it down 70/30 with water and spray it on. then leave it for a day or two then wash it off. i know it work on pools to remove yellowing or heavy metal stains.

Hey bud, just found your channel and the boat looks good. Was watching your video about the Amazon EVA foam. Doing decking on subs we always start from the center and work outboard. May help you if you ever do it again. Snap a chalk line down the center and work your way outboard. As for the smoothness of the fiberglass, some epoxy and a sander or even bondo and sanding will smooth it right out

Had the same thing on an old fiberglass boat myself, try simple green with magic eraser then buff to perfection!

Rachel could start her own KZread channel on fishing and I will be there to watch.

Definitely wrap it up!!! Need a fuel gauge and a couple finders on it. Did you put a bank charger on it? I don't remember. And yes to another 1v1 challenge.

Get a Camouflage wrap your fav team colors or do a blue and grey swirl

Did they try starbrite hull cleaner? Or a magic easer (idk why but those things work wonders on almost every 😂). But is that clear coating or is that the old paint that's sundried and has caught oils in it ?

did my 22 year old nitro with it it came out nice bs of it all is the wet sanding forever to get the oxidation out sick bs but that pro tech is the shit.

Maybe you could sand the hull, apply a primer and then a new paint. It's a small boat, that will not be a very hard and long job.

Razor blade the old automotive clear off and sand, 600 grit all the way up to 3000 grit and then buff

Color sand the white down to the gelcote. Leave the stripe alone if it's ok.

@@TightlineTV that’s tough, there’s not much that hydrochloric acid won’t dissolve. Mary Kate On/Off is a combo of hydrochloric and phosphoric acid, makes mineral spirits seem like dish soap.
