Hey Baylee, I'm not sure why I'm writing this, but it feels like the right thing to do, so here I go. My sister (Lore, 27) is such a big fan of you :). She watches all your video and live streams almost religiously, and orders stuff from your store almost every time you have something new in stock (all the way to Belgium.) She is always excited then to tell me what she ordered and show it to me when it arrives :). Last Friday, I found my sister in her bedroom, having had a stroke. Right now she's in the hospital, luckily stable. She is still sleeping for 95% of the time, and has trouble speaking (luckily she does seem to be aware of what we are saying to her in these few moments she is awake), she also cannot move her right arm or leg. We all hope that when time passes, she will be able to recover fully, but it is too early to be sure at this point. Right now I'm trying to stay positive and hoping for things to improve step by step. I take my tablet with me to the hospital everyday I visit. I'm hoping that soon she will be awake and aware enough so that I can put this video up next to her to watch, so everything can feel a bit more normal again to her. So I guess all of this just to say thank you, for having a positive influence on my sister's life. I know that once she's able to watch your videos again, that they will help her to keep going. You are making me consider if I should get strip lights like that for underneath my sewing area/prep area. I have this really nice chandelier that was left here by the previous owner, but sometimes you just need more subtle light in specific spots and those would work wonderfully for that. I admire your attention to detail, even when no one might see it, those lines are just chef's kiss!

The lights looked like they were changing to the sound of your voice? Am I crazy? Was that a setting on them. I haven’t finished the video yet so I don’t know if she figured this out yet 😭

you might be right, i have the same brand of lights and they 100% have a "sync to mic/music" setting. its a bulb that i use though

Lighting underneath the desk is so under rated and useful. I know it was a ton of work but the end result was lovely! Nothing says you can't make the patio a full catio later. You could always move the little one.

Have you looked for a window pet door? One that would just slide into your window but allow them to go in and out without letting as many bugs in

I'm pretty sure nespresso makes decaf pods too. Then you can still have your comfort cup of coffee without the caffiene. Cause sometimes, a hot beverage in the morning when you're working makes the day a lot better so I get it.

Honestly, before you built it, I thought you were going to make the whole deck area a catio. Then you could sit out there with her and not have to worry opening the big doors. And then you can also get roll-up or tie back screen curtains or material and make it a screened in area free of most insects.

I can't wait for this merch to come out omg so excited I wanna buy them now

You could put fine mesh screen around the outside of the catio like on a screen door.. might help with the bugs and keep baby’s happy

If the coffee isn't working you can look into teas made for energy release! There is one called Positive Energy and it's great as a breakfast tea to help you feel energized slowly through out the day

Mommy said "no" - so I'll go ask daddy. 😆😸 My parents converted their small deck off their bedroom into a cat safe area years ago. There was a lot of framing and screen cutting but the cats loved it.

This was the perfect way to spend my Friday on a day I get a year older.

You could put screen mesh on the catio to keep bugs from flying into it and then into the house, my parents have a screened in porch and they redid the screens themselves with it being wood you could staple gun the mesh with no problem, then your kitties could still enjoy the open window , but a kitty door would also keep the cold air in if that bothers you,it bothered me because it’s much hotter outside where I live and I never open the windows because then I’m letting all the cold air out and make it the ac work double time.

@Baylee Jae .. you can buy a fine bug mesh for the cattery staple it all on the inside and then you can still have the window open and the cats can still see out of it and your house will be bug free..

rig up a hanging screen...rigid but only connected at the top..will help keep bugs out and the cats can still get out

For the phone screen, look for magnetic pop socket bases. they have the ‘other side’ of the magnet on them

Hey Baylee! Just wanted to say I love you channel and videos, they are a little cozy space for me to relax and I really love them. I have a question though which i seriously need help with. I am a artist myself, and as I have been growing my skill I feel like I need to upgrade from my super cheap acrylic paints. I don't really have a lot of money to spend on paint but I want to know if you or anyone has any suggestions that are not super expensive but still a relatively good quality. Thank you! About the Govee strips lighting up when you touch them: that's normal and mine do it too. Pretty sure when you press on it, it short circuits it a bit which provide enough power for an LED or two to dimly light.

Could you use a MagSafe popsocket and glue the monitor to a pop socket? You’d then need the popsocket adapter to attach to a tripod though.

Have you tried combing your hair then scrunching it upside down?

can you use something similar to the octobuddy? its like a double sided suction pad for the mirror screen

Flavored tea or hot chocolate would be a good switch from coffee

For the catio bug problem, could you try to attach window screening to the catio itself?

You should try drinking strong black tea with a dash of milk, sugar optional dep on your tastes. I find it gives a nice “comfort” caffeine hit without making you feel gross on an empty stomach

I bought Tazo black tea (morning breakfast) I think and it has 65 mg caffeine in one cup which is low compared to caffeine I normally drink but nice enough to give you a little boop wake up, so I agree!

It sucks to hear you are discontinuing the luna moth hoodies! I understand you need the space but I was hoping to buy one but my finance situation hasn't been good. I just had my car crashed into while it was parked so I am omega broke. Can't wait to see what you make next tho!!

I use a wide tooth comb and it's fine. I brush it before showering, so I'm not detangling it wet.

plenty of ppl post up to the first minute of their tiktok video on shorts. never bothers me but if anything, itd drive people to your tiktok or full youtube video. i think your wavy hair texture looks really good, have you tried to do a wavy hair routine to bring them out more? i think it would look super cute. just need to be styled, no matter what your natural texture is, if you just leave it to airdry with no teasing or work, its gonna look a mess.

Appearance-wise, they look fine when the strip is hidden. But in terms of renos, they will be a nightmare for people who stick them to walls, because they peel off paint. They'll have to fill in the holes and sand it down.

Wavy hair needs to be nurtured! The more you do it/the better you treat it the better it’ll look!

Try putting peppermint near your window as a fly and mosquito repellent. If you go the oil route, make sure you wear gloves. Speaking from experience, that stuff makes your hands burn and tingle, not pleasant 😖
