I went to the dealership for an oil change on my ‘19 F-150 Limited and left with a ‘21 Code Orange 35 Raptor. Paid $10k over sticker. Sign of the times. But I love it. Congrats on the purchase.

@@sonofsal5778 no there isn’t… you have a fair chance of getting a build allocation at MSRP but then you’re waiting 6-7 months at least. You haven’t been on the forums or FB pages have you?

@@UntamedMotors agreed. There's no dealership that sells these at msrp right now. I ordered mine 3 weeks ago and agreed on 7500 markup. I spend weeks and called dozens of dealerships, all asking over msrp. I don't agree with that but 7500 is better than 20k over

Congrats again dude. Raptor has always been my favorite rig. Never been a fan of graphics but I respect it on the 37 package.

I agree. Maybe if I see the 37 graphics package in person I'd change my mind. I ordered mine with out and going to search for a gen 1 graphics kit...maybe make it unique a little...

So much better looking than the 22 Tundra trd pro. Only body feature I'd like to see is RAPTOR embossed in sheet metal rather than decal. Look forward to the Ranger Raptor reveal in the U.S.

Red is my least favorite color… yet I love this. Idk why, but its just so unique compared to most all other reds out there.

I put in my deposit on October of last year and was told I should get the truck by late November or early December, well it's January 18th 2022 now and it's finally in route to the dealer. Btw I'm getting the truck at MSRP so worth the wait

Thanks man. Finally someone who understand that lol. Trust me, I absolutely hate the idea of paying a dime over sticker on anything… but I also see the bigger picture. These are “dealer auctioning” in the high 90s used. With most selling for over 100 private party and on lots. I paid $90K for a 100K truck. The question remains, how long will that be the case for Raptors though?

My wife’s GX took 2 weeks and we live in RI!!!!! Congrats, beautiful truck inside and out, and that dealership did right by you for the speedy paper work push thru… kudos to them!!!

For 7k over MSRP, the dealership should have bent the over backwards for you and delivered it to your house in an enclosed trailer

I put in my deposit last October and got it at MSRP. The dealer showed me the invoice and dealers make a little over 5k if a customer buys at MSRP. So that's a good 12k commission for the dealer.

Truck is gorgeous use wheel liners do not undercoat your vehicle will trap moisture underneath the undercoat if it rips or scratches and create more rust and more damage I worked in a body shop for years so I learned a trick or two I’m glad you got your truck they’ll use Covid for any excuse to terrorize us have a blessed day

Im a ram guy but honestly think new raptor looks better. Just cant get over the price of a raptor with almost 300 hp less. Now if raptor was 15000 less than maybe. Good luck with it bud

Thanks brother! That’s what pushed me to the Raptor over the TRX. I prefer the look of the exterior and interior much more… and the fact that they actually have a pedigree in this segment helps. Wish TRX wasn’t an FCA product. =\

I live in mass. It's such a paint in the ass owning a car in this state lol. You definitely need rear wheel fender liners. I'm surprised didn't come from the factory with no rear fender liners.

Agreed, with the amount of money you paid this is what they should have done!! Glad to see good customer service. This thing is 🔥🔥🔥🔥. Love this color, with antimatter being favorite but this is a close second.

7k is not bad for brand new here in Seattle it’s over 7k for a used one with 50k miles

Great looking truck. Finally something exciting on the channel (besides the Land Cruiser). As reliable as the Toyota products are, they are just boring as hell and is why I’m getting rid of my Pro and going back to a Rubicon with the Xtreme Recon package. Now you need to dump the 4Runner since it will be worth quite a bit and order yourself a Wrangler 392 before they stop making that and that will be worth even more than the 4Runner.

I don’t think the gearing changed, but the subframe is strengthened to support it.

Sometimes, but SUVs and Trucks just fit my family so much better. Plus the stress of “curbing a wheel” is no longer a thing. Which I greatly appreciate.

How long did it take from the date your ordered the truck until it was delivered and ready for pickup? I just ordered mine today and I have no clue what to expect

So is this particular Raptor a 2021 or a 2022 model year? Also, do you have any idea if the 2022 models will come in Race Red. I want to buy the truck but I need that race red color 🙂.

Can you tell or anyone out there tell me how different is the ride in the gen 3? I always found the gen 2 a bit bouncy compared to the standard f-150, not as smooth as I thought it would be, I’ve heard people say the gen 3 is a better ride

The ride in this is phenomenal. It does feel smoother than the gen2 imo. The Shelby was equally smooth (but it had the upgraded Fox suspension). Driving the gen3 doesn’t feel like you’re driving a 5600 lbs vehicle…

Very cool truck. Sold my 21' Land Cruiser HE, and have an offer on my 21' TRD Pro Tundra for more than I paid, but just can't find a new truck that is 1. available at MSRP and 2. Reliable (ish) around me but the TRX and new Raptor both seem like they would be super fun. I'll live vicariously through you and hope you can show me the Ford can be reliable!

I’m going to do Diamondback again… I loved that cover! Super easy to assemble and install, super durable and easy to use.

Awesome truck but if I was a millionaire I would not buy and be ripped off by the crooked dealers. I use to trade F150’s every 3 years but no more. I will drive my current one until the wheels run off and then rebuild it and drive it again. I can’t wait until this bubble bust and the crooks are begging to sell a vehicle.

Nice truck, I am however looking forward to it being traded in for the Tundra TRD PRO haha.
