​@@haroldpennysworth2442 Might not be overdubbed (or it might be), but it's definitely AT LEAST post-processed, but that's to be expected with a DVD release and absolutely normal. Adam definitely has his moments, but I believe his vocal inconstancy comes from not understanding proper breath support. He sometimes (like in this performance) actually sings properly, which likely has something to do with flow state and when he's dialed in mentally his body just does the correct things. So on days like this, it's a fluke not in the sense that he's doing it wrong and happens to sound good, but rather a fluke in that he's doing the right things without really knowing how to replicate it in the future - hence the inconsistencies between performances like this and others. Someone along the way likely told him to use less breath, stop screaming, etc... Which is good advice WHEN COMBINED WITH PROPER BREATH SUPPORT, WHICH HE DOESN'T SEEM TO UTILIZE, which is why he sings the way he does now. He's shaky/can't hold a consistent note without excessive unintentional and aggressive goat-like vibrato because he doesn't use proper breath support and compression. There's times where Adam really does sound amazing, and you can tell that he's dialed in and whatnot. You can't get that while doing the wrong things (Not a blanket statement. Obviously there's exceptions, but I'm mostly speaking about live performances. You can do stupid shit in the studio that sounds good, but not for 2 hours straight in a live performance. Corey Taylor 's Iowa screams are one of tons of examples). My guess with Adam is that when he accidentally gets the breath support correct, everything else falls in line. When he doesn't, his body automatically makes tons of compensations (like anyone's body would) and sometimes they also sound good, but often they don't, and are also often most certainly not sustainable. Certain things like AOL performances obviously tune the shit out of every one's vocals by default, but there are plenty of examples of good Adam Lazzara performances that are most certainly real. He just struggles to find that consistently due to the lack of mind muscle connection. That's all just my opinion. Maybe I'm completely wrong. But it seems likely to me.
