This is from a golden age in emo rock. I could not get enough of TBS, MCR, and many others. But of all the emo rock that kept me going through high school, I know more from TBS than any other. I have loved rediscovering this music after a decade and a half under many influences and a rough hell of a ride. Thanks TBS for being my fuel through a lot of hard crap then and now.

@@Chjmajra nah. i think the job its done. we need to progress and that's why we have bands like vant, pup or fidlar. i think it's okay and plus, the nostalgia (not for me, but for the 30yo) makes the songs even better.

@@antonionsfw no the job is not done, this is music, this is talent, the progression you speak of, 99% of it has no talent, it’s all electronic bull$hit, love seeing young people enjoy this $hit, but to say it needs to progress when you’re talking to an age group that saw this genre progress is fu{king stupid, we see what music has “progressed” too, and it’s fu{king disgusting and a disgrace to music
@antonionsfw
3 жыл бұрын
@@eriknelson5583 man, i think you're just listening to mainstream music. try to go further in punk genre or alternative and you'll find talent. now, if this genre of music kept going, would you still appreciate it as much as you do nowadays? the nostalgia of being in myspace and listening to all these bands makes the songs hit waaaay harder. anyways, i love tbs still and i hope they keep making music.

I’m 39, almost 40. This record came out when I was 20 and it was the soundtrack to my summer of 2004. What a magical time - I was dating my then girlfriend, playing in screamo bands and having the time of my life. I am truly blessed. 🥹

This is so good but you must hear “Winding Road” or “Live Not Survive” by SLT 🎶🎹🤘
Love love love Taking Back Sunday even though I'm in my 60's!!
34 years old rn in 2023 and literally TBS is the only reason I’m proud to be from LI-NY, having known them and grew up with them. Forever a staple in my playlist
Another beautiful piece of my teenage angst, here with all others who have also seen decades under the influence!
They told him to use a cordless Mic................He just laughed! LOL 37 and still listening! Our 3 and 2 year old enjoy all this kind of music, it is great!

31 here, I’ll never forget this band
Oh thank God they just recently uploaded this... I'm 34 now, but their music will always hold an insanely special place in my heart. Oh the magical days of high school and Warped Tour...

I remember when I really wanted to go to Woodstock. Warped tour was pretty good for awhile then the lineup got interesting..... Katy Perry was there the year I went and that was odd.

I don't know if anyone else agrees but Taking back Sunday is one of the few emo bands that didn't change its style at all and they are loyal

They did after Louder now and New again. Once Fred, Matt and eddie left they went downhill fast.

@Fullcollapse1 aww I was just thinking I wanna see them live but not if most left.
same as the rest of the comments: I'm 31. Still listening. I'm glad you all are with me. We lost a lot along the way. Thru drug overdoses and car accidents. We're here breathing, fam. I got it bad. I got it baaaaaaad.
I’m 39, almost 40. This record came out when I was 20 and it was the soundtrack to my summer of 2004. What a magical time - I was dating my then girlfriend, playing in screamo bands and having the time of my life. I am truly blessed. 🥹

This song always gave me butterflies 🦋 and 15 years later, it still does… the nostalgia is heavy with this one 💘
Can't wait for the summer show in Buffalo. They killed it on Halloween a few years back. Got me through untreated mental illness in HS during the early 2000s. Now I'm in a great place as an adult and it's such a treat to be able to still enjoy their music. Will ALWAYS be one of my favorite bands , thank you TBS.

36 going stronggggg TBS 💘
Best pop-punk/emo band of all time, they paved the way for every single band that wanted this sound after them. Timeless and classic, I’ll be bumping this until 2050 lol
Bruh this song… TOP NOTCH SONG👌
This album defines an entire relationship for me.
I literally just gave my 12 year old stepson a list of bands that embody teenage angst

Newfound Glory. The used. Dashboard confessional The list goes on. Ahhh 2005. Early 2000's was a good year for alternative punk music.
yessssss one of my absolute favorite TBS songs
3:08 part still give me chill to this day
This is honestly my favorite song and video together. It just feels magical like it was meant to be.
... And all of a sudden, I'm 18, again. I think I still have some of my old TBS shirts from this era, a couple, at least. While those shirts don't fit, anymore, this song still does 😁
I don't care what anyone says this is the best TBS line up.
I was looking every where on here for this music video just two days ago and here it is now. Thank you for uploading it and of course all the badass music through the years, you guys are old school for me. Good stuff.
Taking Back Sunday is sooooo good!!
Saw them live at Warped Tour 2004. Unforgettable memories. Loved them live.
One of my all time faves. 38 and still love TBS!
This lineup! 🙏🏻❤
This song still hits me to my core like it did back in 04. I miss those days
The remastering looks amazing, I love the clarity, I’m so glad this video was brought back. Great to see the masterful musicians at work! Forever deeply impressed with the talent in this band.
