Willie, far be it for me to comment on UK real estate law, but in Kampuchea it's as follows - you put down 50% of the property [agreed] value when you make an agreement to purchase; then, you pay the other 50% within ONE month [exchange paperwork], and expect to move in - that's it - NO legal entities need apply nor enter into the arrangement

Try to keep smiling Willie, moving house is always stress inducing whether it be incompetent conveyancing or difficult buyers and sellers there is always an issue.
