Takeoff at Cheat River Fly-In
#Shorts
If you have been following my videos flying with the Mooney, this video might come as a surprise. But if you have already checked out my Instagram, you already know that at the beginning of the year, I traded my Mooney for this Skybolt. After abut 30 hours in the Skybolt and ~35 hours total tailwheel, I took my aerobatic biplane to a very short 1700 foot strip for a fly-in at Cheat River, WV Here's a takeoff from that cool airstrip, hopefully you enjoy it and the new Skybolt content that will be showing up once I am finished catching up with the Mooney videos.

Thanks for the ride!!!!
Awesome airport!!
Ha Ha - I thought that was you at 76N last weekend - was going to say hi but never saw any of the videos with the biplane - you kinda look like Chris Murley so I thought maybe you were his brother or cousin and not the mooney guy - too funny - nice plane - do you fly with Chris much ?

Well I wouldn't ever mind someone stopping over and saying hi even if they don't know me from the videos. That was actually my first time over to 76N and my first time meeting Chris, but I have a feeling it definitely won't be the last time.
That was fun! Nice camera work!
Nice video. The Skybolt looks like a natural for that terrain.
That looks like fun! Excited to see the Mooney trip videos.
