We were in exactly this situation at the start of October when this ruling started to be enforced. We were pretty much the first to be turned away and put it on every relevant FB group to warn people. It’s a rule that has always been there for 3rd countries, but the PIF and vets were unclear if this applies to the UK (it does). There’s still some confusion but simply, every vaccine and test needs to be administered and conducted in the EU to enter the EU from a 3rd country. The only exception is the UK to EU and back which is governed by the AHC. I spoke to DEFRA and they were pretty useless and eventually recommended getting an EU Pet Passport - which technically we cannot do. But most EU vets will oblige, though many will not transfer details from an AHC and will only input details for vaccinations and tests they have administered themselves. We will be heading back next month with our dog and his EU Pet Passport to try again. Good luck

It’s CRAZY, so much confusion even amongst the ‘officials’…I’m confident we’re all in check for crossing next week but what an expensive & frustrating process it’s been! If only it was clear from the start in the UK that nothing other than European documentation will work, we could have saved a fortune & had a lot less stress! Regarding the Fanta thing, UK Fanta contains less sugar than some eu versions. Some of the eu versions also contain more orange juice.

Sorry to hear it didn't work out for you. We are on the same journey. Just changed our plans to stay in Spain this year to get all the dog paperwork sorted. We'll do Morocco next. Hey ho. For us its working out being in Spain, we are enjoying Andalusia.

Great video, thank you so much for sharing it. We are traveling to Morocco in March with out two dog's and was struggling to find information about the tita test, fortunately they have EU passports already and all the vaccines are written from a EU veterinary houphuly that helps but still have to do the tita test in Spain and hope for a quick results, will try to use the vets that you used 🤞 Thanks again for sharing and safe travels 🚐

It was built out for us by @trekkvans in Carlisle. Not sure what it would all cost now as everything seems to have gone up so much 🤭

Cheers Peter, I’ve just surrendered to the whole process now mate & will just get over there as soon as I can. It’s looking like I’ll miss Christmas with the others though. We aim to be over there ‘til at least end January. I wouldn’t give up on the idea if I were you mate, it’s all do-able, it just takes a bit more time now. It’s a lot less bother if you already have a European Pet Passport. That’ll save you the time and money! I’ll probably do a financial breakdown Vlog when I’m finally done with it all coz I’m not finished yet 🙌

Ahh mate, I’m just killing time waiting to just complete the whole vet cycle all over again…The exact same time consuming nonsense that I was told to do in the UK but now it’s gotta be all European.
