Take A Tour Of Qatar Airways’ Brand New Gulfstream G700

In late-May, Qatar Executive welcomed not one but two shiny new Gulfstream G700s to its
fleet. The $75 million aircraft are some of the highest-performance planes in the business
aviation space! Indeed, during flight testing, the aircraft set more than 50 speed records for
city pairs.
Having been certified by the FAA in March and EASA two months later, the jets are ready to
take off. Qatar Executive says it already has a long list of people keen to be among the first
to try the new type! And, as the international launch customer for the jet, these high-flying
passengers will be some of the first in the world to step on board.
Well, Simple Flying had the opportunity to tour Gulfstream’s newest aircraft in Doha - and so here’s what’s inside!

Not sure why they didn't add one. Luckily the plane itself is capable of having a shower.
I’m not picky. I’d be happy with a used G500!

QATAR GULFSTREAM G700 EXECUTIVE AIRCRAFT: VERY BEAUTIFUL YET VERY PRACTICAL.
Definitely prefer the Global 8000.
I mean, it's awesome, but is there really a market for this? Although cheaper than privately owned jets, I'm sure that those who can afford this option more than likely can afford just owning/renting a private plane and the expenses associated with it

Qatar Executive is a side of Qatar Airways people rarely see.
It's not the fastest one, the Bombardier Global 8000 is the fastest business jet till now
When you have more money than you know what to do with.

Never gonna be rich enough this lifetime to ever charter one of those... but I do think not having a shower for flights that'll be up to 14 hours is a bit of a missed opportunity... I believe that already taken delivery of A7-CHC, so who knows... maybe one of the future ones will be kitted out with a shower?
Who would want to sit in the toilet? I keep hearing videos saying how the toilet can be used as a seat and I'm like what are these people talking about? You really think that the kind of person that gets to fly like this will be happy to sit in the toilet???

Not sure, why rich customers should have waited 6 years instead of buying a Bombardier Global 7500 with exact the same speed, range, 4 zone cabin with shower etc. The G700 is 6 years too late but brings nothing new to the table, I‘m not even sure that 4K TV screens are standard on the G700 . Qatar Executive is now 6 years behind Vistajet that has been using the Global 7500 since 2018.
Imagine being on a flight lasting 14 hours with sweaty armpits arriving at a business meeting. Needs a shower. If they can fit one in a caravan I'm sure they could have done it here.
I'd rather have a Dassault Falcon over a Gulfstream.

Dassault is no competition to the G700, their largest model Falcon 8x is smaller, slower and has 2000km less range. The only competition is the Bombardier Global 7500 which has already sold over 100 units since 2018 and which will be replaced by the Global 8000 in 2025, a plane Gulfstream cannot rival because their G800 will be much smaller more like the G650.

@@michaelgill7248 but the 10x still has to fly, at its range I limited to 7500 nm with a lower speed of Mach 0.8.

43 inches is pathetic not huge
This is just soo pretentious and unnecessary. People are dying from hunger while other people are burning their millions for vanity. What a world we live in... 😔😔

Carpet is hideous. I think if you option the shower you lose a large hanging wardrobe.
