@@e.9425 I’ve got to disagree. Both times I saw it, the theater’s projector was calibrated correctly and let me tell you, these dark sequences looked absolutely amazing.

While watching this scene here on youtube, I got goosebumps and the hair on my arms stood up. This will be my first movie I will see out at the theaters in over 2 years.

Just know that it’s a slow burn and the director loves his long shots. It’s like a trippy fever dream. I really, really liked it.

This was the best movie to watch in theatres for the first time in 2 years, you need to watch it on the big screen!

Wow, the lady on the lake part was on actual location at an actual cottage and at night? No set, or color grading/editing to make it look like night time. That’s dope.

This is the BEST MOVIE I have seen all year. A masterpiece. ❤️

This was awesome. Dev Patel's acting is phenomenal. He is the best thing in the movie.

@@cfbg he gave us everything lol. Rewatch the film. His acting is literally like a painting that you discover so many things about each time you watch it. At least that was my experience

I really loved seeing this and hearing how the scene came to be. It makes this extraordinary film even better.

You people have no idea how long it took for me to find this breakdown again

I saw it two weeks ago and I am still thinking about it and sometimes completely changing my opinions and interpretations. In the sea of forgettable popcorn, The Green knight reminds us, that movies are still an ART.

The movie definitely takes liberties with the original poem, but I think it captures the spirit of a medieval chivalric tale.

He's a leading man. Sometimes ignoring race is a good thing, in terms of casting. In terms of representation and just sheer talent, his role here and in David Copperfield are massive. Big up Dev Patel, British Indian actor at the top of his game. We won't mention that other film.

And since we are on the subject of Catholicism, in Catholicism suicides can not enter heaven or be forgiven. Suicides are not even give the rites of burial. With that being said, what is the difference in suicide and marytrdom? Isn't failing to protect your life by hiding, using self defense, speaking out etc the same as suicide? Couldn't the topic even include Do not resuscitate, refusing medical treatment, etc be deemed as suicide? Or would that conflict with the seeking God for healing aspect of it all? Condeming a golden bull to set up a bronze serpent makes no sense. They are both idols and not to mention animals. The way I see it is martyrdom is suicide. Allowing yourself to be killed for whatever reason is suicide. If you claim demons can possess people, how do I know a demon to make you commit suicide against your will? And again while we are on the subject of Catholicism, aren't they against birth control? Should a Catholic be giving a woman birth control to prevent pregnancy(Dad)? And should a man spend his existence being böamed and punishing himself for the deaths of others that were not his fault(Dad)?
