He also skipped the Superbowl interview that's always a softball with tons of eyes on it, nobody skips that. There's reports that he can only really function between 10am and 4pm, that's from his own staff! He's basically hidden away from interviews and anything not scripted and after seeing the debate we can see why. He might have some good days here and there, but overall he's not going to get better, that's not how aging works.

No one is arguing if we should vote blue, everyone in this camp agrees Trump is a madman. But let's face reality, Biden is down in every swing state, some by double digits. And every state we barely won last time, and not Virginia... If you look at the electoral math, it's going to be a landslide for Trump. Down by 4 points in the National poll. That is like being down by 8 for the Dems. Popular vote doesn’t win elections and a national poll reflects the popular vote. You won’t see a Dem win a presidential election based on a national poll up by one or maybe even two. On the other hand a GOP candidate can win being down by a point or two.

I will not take a chill pill. Considering who Biden's running against, this is profoundly important. And for Biden, the numbers just aren't there. It's even worse for him post debate (not surprisingly). Biden's "defiance" may cost Democrats the White House. He needs to put his ego aside.
