The bassist Emil Ramsauer was 95 at the time and is the oldest performer in history of ESC, surpassing Yekaterina Zarbatova from 2012. Also, this act holds the record of biggest age difference between two performers from the same country in the same act - Ramsauer was 95 while singer Sarah Breiter was 22.

This song is pure joy and what Eurovision Song Contest Was ment for. People are an idiots not understanding. R.I.P. Emil. You and Takasa will be remembered in the ESC HISTORY.

This performance made history in two cathegories: 1. the bassist Emil Ramsauer became, at the age of 95, the oldest performer in history of ESC, breaking the previous record that was set by member of Buranovskiye Babushki Elizaveta Zarbatova who was 86 at the time she appeared in 2012 ESC contest. 2. the female lead singer Sarah Brelter was only 22 at the time of this contest. The 73 year age gap between her and Ramsauer is by far the biggest age gap between two performers in the same act in history of ESC.

switzerland is one of the most underrated countries in eurovision contest. they always send good songs, like the ones from dj bobo, anna rossinelli and this year's takasa, but they rarely end at a very good position. this song is slowly becoming my favorite 2013 eurovision song :)

I just want to say here that this is a fantastic song, and I think it's ridiculous that they didn't get through.

He is having fun, he is part of life, he is part of this world, he is a human being, a man with dreams and hopes, maybe being part of the band was one of his dreams: it's great to see an older person enjoy life to the full. Is life over once you reach 60? Think about this and maybe in another 20 years your comments might be different. Not everything is about winning and age is just a number.

They had to censor the song because the lyrics had a religious undertone (in fact, like the entire band). If the song had been an ode for Satan with human demons crawling on the ground, then they would've made every effort to promote it (thumbnail, snippets, etc) 👍😑
