This song and hold me closer with Cornelia Jakobs is the best two songs to never win in my opinion

Not only Norways best perfomance, to me, this is in the top 3 ever in eurovision. That fat naked synth combined with that crisp voice and the minimalistic perfomence - epic, still in 2020.

People say this all the time. I know it sucks when a great song doesn't win, but I've seen too many "Too good for Eurovision" comments to believe it anymore. BTW, this isn't the Eurovision performance, that one wasn't quite as amazingly staged.

she unfortunately did bad during the finals (kind of a broken voice.. perhaps a cold or just pressure or was it the settings of this masterchief during the event idk really) that s why she didnt finish 1st in my view.. otherwise she definitely would have deserved first by far.. I mean the drums fit perfectly and her voice with the echo.. just insanely powerful...greetings from france!

Not only is the song amazing but that dress suit she’s wearing is gorgeous, the way she walks in it, so elegant.

I am .Loved both Margret and her song! I live 5 minutes from the arena where eurovision was held 2013 and will be held now in may 2024 :)

We (the UK) are one of only four countries that gave this no points in the final. We deserve to never get points again for such an egregious mistake. Austria, France and Ireland were the other 3, and shame on them too x

I would be so proud if Ireland sent something even half as good as this in this century. Everything about it is flawless, it gives me shivers. Norway deserved to win with it.

This is SO much more than a song - this is an experience. One of the best tunes in Eurovision history and I’m still here all these years later.
