Takapuna Sunday Market - Auckland New Zealand
The Takapuna Market has been operating for over 30 years in the heart of Takapuna every Sunday from 6am to mid day .
There is a variety of stalls from pre loved items, fresh produce, handmade goods, clothes, electronics, tools, arts, crafts and delicious foods.
Unfortunately when I last visited the weather was a little questionable so there were definitely not as many shoppers as usual.

Always enjoy a great market...one never knows what they might just find...and usually something good to eat if nothing else! lol

Wow! What an incredible farmers market with so many neat things to choose from! I love how you can try all of the foods while shopping through the market as well! I also loved all the flower varieties that they had for sale! 😉 It looks like an amazing market! Ps. That bread absolutely looked delicious! Hahahaha, yes wouldn’t the ability to smell make video a more immersive experience especially some of those cooking shows although I couldn’t’t recommend it for any of our Seal of Bird sanctuaries . 😀 Takapuna isn’t quite as flash food wise as Smales Farm but perhaps a little more humble . 😀
I love food 😂 and market 😋

What a nice market experience. Looks at all that cheese! Amazing place, so much to choose from. Lovely cutting boards and tea sets. Thanks for taking us along 🛒🛍👍👍🧀

Beautiful market Chris! Fun shopping outside, plus tasting great food! I’m not sure about Wasabi cheese either… 🧐 It would be fun to at least try a bit. 30 years is a nice long time to have the market! 👌☀☀☀

Hi Jennifer, yes I definitely wouldn’t mind trying the Wasabi cheese either but I couldn’t quite bring myself to getting a 250g slice !!

It’s not easy to see such clean and tidy market. I think it’s just one of many in Auckland. Not sure if Auckland has night markets as well?

Me neither I should check, there used to be a night market at the Glenfield Mall car park but that was a few years back.
