    Learning English for over a decade in compulsory school format (and by percentages mostly failing) in one's youth is vastly different than trying to wing learning Mandarin in middle age. You also aren't encumbered by work when you're young, so time is a-plenty. Reading and writing in Mandarin (generally supportive of broader fluency) takes a native twelve years to learn in formal education, so it's not really a "just pull yourself up by the bootstraps" thing. In other words, there's objective reasoning why Mandarin is a rarity outside the Chinese ethnic community. Add to that most fluent English speakers in non-English speaking countries tend to have a silver-spoon upbringing. International schools and cram schools exist. Furthermore, Chinese-language cram and international schools in the West exist only for the uber uber uber rich.

  • @mypartyisprivate8693

    @mypartyisprivate8693

    25 күн бұрын

    Chinese-language schools abroad are an unfathomable luxury available only for the uber rich. English in contrast is offered across incomes to all manner of people in all manner of countries. Never underestimate a good start, or any start for that matter.

    Toilets comment is so true... in other countries you've always gotta worry about where you can go. In Taiwan (and Japan) you've always got the MRT stations, or even 7 / Family Mart. But actually the London underground has a "secret" system of public toilets -- Britain has these things called "pubs" that are next to most tube stations and train stations. 😜

    " 又來看__了,廢話不多說趕緊先按個讚 " 請注意,上面那個留言是終國人, 專門通知小紅來監控新住民網紅, 請勿任意按讚, 按讚數越多,會引來越多小紅騷擾! 這事已存在很久,但都沒人關心,大家敏感度真的不夠! 不是一個新住民的問題,是臺灣每個新住民都遇上這個問題了,他真正的目的恐怕不只騷擾這麼簡單,我們已無法想像,無法得知! 先講兩個簡單邏輯,一是全世界這麼多頻道,為何只要談到不利對岸或稱讚臺灣的字,還不用扯到政治,簡單幾個字就好, 就馬上會有對岸的人來騷擾,或者可說混淆視聽?他們到底是如何做到的?請仔細思考一下! 二是他在每個頻道都是前一分或前三位留言,請問:全臺灣二十四小時有多少人在線上,他卻能做到非一般正常人能做到的事!很明顯他是不是已能控制油管後台? 多觀察一些頻道你就會發現,他總是在前幾分就留言,從來不看影片,除油土伯名字有改,文字都沒換, 問題也從來不回,曾經是奇怪的小紅在回,用簡體字出現幫他圓場! 其實很多人都知道,注意他很久了,已引起討論, 他每隔一段時間就盜用他人圖像,有一次盜用韓國網紅的照片被當事人發現,那位網紅的朋友說了這件事, 他被檢舉後又自動換了圖像,根本檢舉不了,隔天他又換照片繼續留言! 其實有很多Youtbers也發現了,都嘗試跟他互動,但他是沒回過!請仔細思考一下,如果你是這麼愛看這位新住民影片的粉絲,每個影片都是前三留言, Youtbers馬上跟你問好說嗨,你怎麼可能都不回,那是支持個什麼勁?很多Youtbers都問候過他,試著跟他互動,他從沒理過! 不信可以去問問莎白、小貝、璀璨、彩曦,他們都曾是苦主! 若曾跟他打招呼,他有回你過嗎?相信你應該知道答案了!給他愛心及讚也只是砍掉所有觀眾的戒心,同時也是在幫他達到我們不知道的目地! 可惜,我們政府沒有任何單位可以處理這件事!新住民Youtbers這麼多人知道,也沒人想處理,應該可以說大家不夠團結吧, 或許是沒錢賺的事,大家不會想做?!只能提醒大家不要再理他,或直接檢舉掉它(若有辦法),總之,大家一切小心為妙!

    台北因為濕氣重,所以一旦熱起來不輸高雄。 你身上的汗水會因為濕氣黏在皮膚上,毛細孔會有一種被悶住的感覺。 但是台北市的冬天比較有感,約11月多就要加件外套出門 可是到了南部高雄根本不用擔心要換季,永遠只需要穿短袖即可 所以臺北市盛夏還是7~9月偏熱而已。 但是台北市最麻煩的是,雨季通常過久比較困擾 你必須要購買除濕機才行。
