More than 80 earthquakes, the strongest of which registered at a magnitude of 6.3, struck Taiwan’s east coast on the night of April 22, 2024. Although no casualties were immediately reported, the tremors rattled buildings already damaged by a magnitude 7.3 earthquake that struck the island on April 3, killing at least 14 people. Officials reported that some of the latest quakes were felt in the capital Taipei, in the north of the island.

To be honest that building may have ben sidwaise before the quake
I lived in a red zone, a highly risked area of earthquakes and tsunamis from the southern side and an active volcano in the northern side. I got used to big-scale number earthquakes, but I always forget the reason we don't feel much because the epicentre was far in the Open Ocean. I forget, I think everyone in my hometown forgot, how deadly an earthquake could become 😢 Pray for Taiwan 🇹🇼 I hope even when the series of earthquakes still going, they at least happen a bit far from the island 😓

"a bit", im sorry but did you not see the building collapsing? secondly, these earthquakes were at 7,3 magnitude where 10 is the absolute max. So please educate yourself before blaming the media for "hyping it up" - people are dying and thousands are injured but i guess that doesnt matter cuz it was just a bit of a shake?

Well, that's depends on where you're from ? If you're from the US 🇺🇸 or one of the US allies (like example: 🇬🇧 UK, 🇨🇦 Canada, 🇦🇺 Australia, 🇫🇷 France, 🇯🇵 Japan, 🇵🇭 Philippines and so on, you will say, "It's 🇨🇳 China fault" To them, especially 🇺🇸 the US, as long as anything is bad, just blame it on 🇨🇳 China.

Third-world China needs to learn from advanced nations, like Taiwan 🇹🇼, on how to build homes in the quake-prone areas by copying/pasting their building codes. - So that an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.9 wouldn't destroy over 100,000 homes and cost over 150 human lives in rural area.
