She formed a nu metal band called Tura Satana (originally named Manhole). Released two albums, both produced by godfather of nu metal Ross Robinson, then broke up in 1999. She then formed a new band called My Ruin, did 8 albums before going on hiatus in 2014. Recently, she returned to her hip hop roots with her new albums Vintage Curses and Feminenergy.
