Taipei’s Vibrant, Trendy Michelin Green Star Restaurant | Veggie Island

Join Aggie at Taipei’s Little Tree Restaurant, where executive chef Tim Hsu serves up creative, vibrant dishes that are as pleasing to the eye as they are to the palette.
Little Tree Restaurant (小小樹食), located on the grand, tree-lined avenue of Dunhua South Road, is a beautiful, refreshing escape in the heart of the hustle and bustle of Taipei. Inside, chef Tim Hsu serves a menu of healthy, flavorful Californian cuisines interspersed with Asian-inspired dishes from southern China and Taiwan.
Tasty plates like Mexican-style roasted corn and Sichuan spicy dumplings bring the heat, while wholesome meals like the avocado Buddha bowl incorporate fresh, local produce. Chef Tim earns points for creativity with his Korean-style fried cauliflower, which uses the cauliflower’s unique shape to mimic the appearance of fried chicken, while crunchy almonds lend the perfect texture to the dish.
Winning the Michelin Green Star award for two consecutive years, this trendy and healthy restaurant offers California- and Asian-inspired cuisine that even non-vegetarians will enjoy. Come see why local influencers and normies alike love to frequent this urban oasis.

Superb episode as always. As a Taiwanese immigrant here in Canada, really do miss out the vegetarian scene in Taiwan. Growing up when ever we head to the Buddhist temple from a mountainous hike when arrive the temple, always have the traditional vegetarian cuisine/lunch and truly miss that experience!

I don't think this is the best vegetarian restaurant in Taipei by far, but that's because there are so many amazing veg* restaurants to choose from.
