I love this video. As a professional recruiter I tell people this ALL the time. I don't think people realize how this makes them stand out. Also a good way to create your master resume is to look at several job descriptions for jobs in your field to build your master resume.

Your master resume as you put it, is not a resume. It's a CV.

I get why you say that but my point is you make one long document with everything but you never send that version you tailor and us Toni even off of it for every job- therefore much shorter than a CV

Great video, I love the idea but I have one question: wouldn´t this create gaps in the resume? Do you still list jobs that aren´t relevant even if you don´t describe them to avoid that problem?

I like the tips presented in this video. What if it's a different job you are applying? Like say my experience was a hardware engineer analyst and now I am applying to data entry roles to make ends meet?

If I have the same position with different companies, how would I put that on my resume without feeling like I'm being repetitive?

Recommend you save under a new name first job/company in a new folder. No copy and paste needed.

Hello Cass. Trust you are doing well. Great video i must say I do have a question. It's actually on my resume. What would you suggest and how, if one wants to tailor their resume as per a customer service or sales profile. So for eg, lets say, if i have been a Customer service rep for a year but for the next 2 yr i was in sales in the same company but now am applying for a customer service role again for another job elsewhere. How should one now tailor their resume. Do you mention your precious sales experience or not? Would appreciate your help. Thanks. Love from India. ❤️

Hi! I was curious about the "Summary of Qualifications" portion. You mentioned that it's okay to only have 3 bullet points. I'm curious as to what information & more specifically what type of vocabulary should be used to attract those that are seeing my resume.

Hi Tran, It should match the job description. Find the three qualities in the job description that are strongest for you and create bullet points for each of those to go in the Summary of Qualifications. So for example, if you are looking at a Publicity Assistant position and you just graduated in PR and had to PR agency internships, one of your bullet points could be "Recent Public Relations graduate with two years PR agency experience".

Appreciate Video clip! Forgive me for chiming in, I would love your opinion. Have you heard about - Hanmila Glorious Doshmaker (Sure I saw it on Google)? It is a great exclusive guide for discovering the trick to have a successful handyman business minus the hard work. Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my coo-worker after many years got excellent success with it.

I’m gonna be honest I got to the 2 min mark and was about to say Noooooo! Lol no one wants to read a 4 page resume when they have 50 applicants. But, what she is saying totally makes sense If you follow through with it!

Yeah you don’t TURN IN a 4 page resume 🤦🏼‍♀️. You’re right, no one wants to read that. Unless you’re in academia where that’s standard
