Thank you, Bruce. I just started Taoist Tai Chi today and one of the reasons is lower back pain. This is immensely helpful.

These instructions are very helpful and valid beyond theory. I had a back operation back in 98 and Tai Chi really helped me. Thank you again for sharing.

Descriptive, detail explained more thoroughly than its explained in a class due to lack of time. Thanks for explaining the way it was done. Only people who have experienced damage to the back will fully comprehend. Sure hope I didn't write too much! 😉😉😊🙏🏼

Yes, when I play tai chi regularly, as I have for the past 12 years, I do not have any back or sciatic pain. If I do not play for 2 weeks, the pain comes back and it is excruciating. I recommend a teacher doing a form of tai chi and chi gong with a lineage. However many of the new programs teaching tai chi for balance might be a good start. It is best to learn from a teacher.

Hi! I really enjoyed your info on healthy backs and proper care of your knees. I am a veteran who has had multiple back injuries and 2 epidurals. I am currently studying tai chi on my own. I am very new. What do you recommend that i do first? I really want to master many forms of taichi however I want to be good to my body and I seek your wisdom and insight.

I broke my neck 12 years ago and am in the same situation you were in trying to heal my always painful lower back. Can you tell me about how long it took to beat the pain doing the pelvis tucking method? Any other info on this would be greatly appreciated thanks.
