how is this mad lad playing all strings at once?! im sure there were some subtle changes with the bow I did not see nor am I aware this instrument existed till now but bravo good sir! you have a subscriber

The instrument has a flat bridge. You'd have a hard time not playing them all at once, unless you play one of the outer strings.

@@Neyvermore ooooh, that makes a lot more sense. I play violin so I might be a bit biased as to how things work, but im always up for learning more about the worlds instruments so thats pretty awesome. Still a cool video

@@redfalconx8138 This instrument is some kind of old cousin of the violin. But I believe the ancestor of the volin also had a flat bridge, as music used to be very drony ! The taglharpa was played closer in bowing to a viola de gamba, with some variations. It's pretty close to the mongolian horsehead fiddle too if you know that one :3

@@Neyvermore it always impresses me how Mongolian or Asian instruments play the game who can play the least strings ever xD It’s pretty interesting to see how the old instruments grew into the new factory made versions we all know today. Thanks for teaching me something new I’ll be looking into these instruments soon.
