I like it. I wouldn't mind owning one.
Badass Aquaracer, I love everything except the price 😊 but I can appreciate that it exists without having to own one. Thanks for the video

Thanks buddy, always appreciate the feedback!
Great watch! It was on my list but went with a Zenith Defy Classic instead.

I looked at those, that’s the one with the El Primero?
Harks back to the Heuer Superprofessional from the early 1980s. This spec Aquaracer might actually beat the Planet Ocean!

they moved right up there with the PO, especially with the movement. The Titanium may be something that edges the Tag over it. Great options out there.
I have its predecessor (Ref. 840.006) with the monocoque case. It is smaller in diameter (& short L2L) but definitely hefty due to the all stainless steel material. A simple, but robust movement (ETA 2824) was used by Tag Heuer then. Mine, being an early version of the Super Professional, runs on the simpler version of ETA 2824 (17 jewels, with no stop lever, so no hacking feature). I suppose I could use it as a weapon (knuckleduster) in an emergency 😁

Lol. That’s a classic you have there! I’ve seen them posted, but never seen one in the wild or in person yet.

Yea... Some of these watches are real chunky.......
Great watch! The price is high but that Tudor movement isn't cheap, I am sure. .

I think the movement is what set the price higher. Solid movement, and I’m really looking forward to see what else Tag uses it in.
I believe Tag heuer used ETA 2824 movements in their Aquaracers not selita 👍🏻 At least they did in 2010 when I bought mine.

Yes, 10 years ago they used ETA. A lot behind it, but when Swatch group bought ETA, manufacturers went to Selita or built their own in house.

@@DougFNJ Thank you, I did not know that 🙂👍🏻
I need to choose beetween this and the Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M 43.5mm. Difficult choice.

Both on a very similar playing field. The extension is a lot better on the Tag.

Only advantage with omega is METAS 15,000 antimagnetic properties.

I have the same dilemma whether to buy the Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean or this Tag Heuer Pro SuperDiver…Both very nice watches just need to decide if the Omega warrants the £1000 difference here in the UK 🇬🇧…Any thoughts or pointers greatly appreciated thanks…
Hansome looking watch :) |1000m rating"? Something else to talk about when asked about the watch by freinds and strangers. though, inevitably that friend will say "...so when is your next deep dive to 1000m??"....silence.... What gets me about dive watches in general is NONE of hte compaies do any real word deep dive testing Lol11 IN thE SEA1 OCEAN's.... They all use "pressure tanks" to SIM the dives....heh...and NONE have actual "deep dive footage" to help sell the watches in ads or just for their own testing. Which begs the question---would these watches REALY survive actual deep dive at teir rated depths?? Kind of ridiculous if you think about it. Akin to trying to sell sportscars with no on-rad testing. :)

There was an interesting competition going on between some brands, I believe it was Rolex and Omega for deep dive watches. They created these massive watches and had them attached to the exterior of submarines to prove the depth ratings. This of course is not one of them, but they do have specialized testing equipment for deeper depth ratings. My brother in law has a Rolex Deep Sea that needs maintenance service. Local service centers would have to send it directly to Rolex so they can test the water resistance in those machines. Some of them take it REAL serious, others just do it to brag lol
