Dr. Thank you for your Pearls of wisdom and knowledge of our Glorious Quran. My Sister and I just started reading the Quran and we have read up to Surah al Nisa. Now we have gone back and taken notes, which I will keep forever.. Ma shallah I know indeed Allah led us to you. The sound of your voice is just right warm and inviting. I'm very grateful for your series, they are incredibly beneficial for me because not only Mufti briefly tells about the contents of each juz but also helps to understand that there is a lot of the wisdom and beauty in the Quran. I do appreciate it a lot. And I take the notes to go over them in the future inshallah. Also I believe that everything that I've watched on this channel helped me to get a little bit better. salaam alaykum. just curious, at 48:07, you mention that Yahya is the cousin of Isa. is that correct? i thought Yahya is the uncle. Zakaria is the brother in law of mother of maryam. therefore Yahya is the cousin of maryam. thank you for you time.

Zachariah's son = John the Baptist (Yahya AS), Mary's son Isa AS and her mother’s sister's son are therefore cousins.

@@abuhaitham7479 alhamdulliah. thank you for your effort. at the end of the day, it doesn't make a difference to us whether they be cousins or not. but I believe in the lecture Mufti stated that Zechariah was the husband of the aunt of Maryam. based on that, they would not be cousins. and Allah knows best. salam alaykum

@@abuhaitham7479 I suppose what interested me was the fact that, if based on the other opinion that Zechariah married the sister of Maryam.....what doesn't add up is the understanding that Imran died when Hannah was still pregnant with Maryam. add to the understanding that Hannah was already quite old. if so, where is this sister coming from? anyway, I was just trying to get a clarification from ZamZamAcademy, perhaps there is more to the linguistic term when "maternal cousins" is mentioned in the hadith regarding Prophet Muhammad seeing Yayha and Isa in Jannah. again thank you.

Farhan Hasan if you’re mother is my mothers older sister, that makes us cousins. Same as Isa and Yahya AS

Did someone else took Nabi Isa place in the crucifixion? I took its was not?
