theres not a lot of taeyong being strict/stern caught on camera, (though theres a couple moments), but he and the members talk often about how he is actually strict when it comes to practice. he leads the dance practices and works them hard, he's even said that he wouldnt be surprised if they disliked him at times because of that, but they all know its for the good of the team

On July 1 yesterday, Taeyong's birthday, at the same time SM announced the debut of 3 new smrookies Shohei, Eunseok and Seunghan who will most likely debut in the new unit NCT. it's like on taeyong's birthday he gave birth to 3 more kids or SM gave him 3 more kids to take care of haha

@@anonymousperson1680 theres no news about the new units tho, but i feel like if there will be nct hollywood, johnny and jaehyun would be in it. nct japan would be yuta and shotaro, and the new members

I don't think Taeyong asked to be the leader or like, walked up to the group one day and was like "I'm going to be the leader, y'all have to answer to ME", it seems like he just naturally started leading the guys and they, naturally followed him. Initially, I don't think NCT as a whole originally had a leader, even by NCT 2018 activities, only NCT 127 had an official leader; WayV hadn't debuted, NCT U was rotational, and NCT Dream had a graduation unit, so they didn't have leaders. But during the entire NCT 2018 project, Taeyong basically took charge and lead everyone that he was officially given the position for NCT as a whole.

Taeyong is a wonderful leader who takes care of and listens to his members, but he also knows how to take charge, make decisions, and work them hard.

taeyong is definitely an amazing leader. sometimes i feel so bad for the pressure he has to deal with but it’s nice to see he has amazing members around him 🥹

Even though Taeyong is so loving, caring, and kind, the members in one of the Korean shows, said that Taeyong is the person they go to for advice. He is like their mentor, but he also has high expectations and can get strict IF he needs to. I think the members monitor themselves pretty well, but Taeyong does know how to get them in line if needed. But now days I think Johnny takes on a lot of that roll for TY. They say Johnny is the dad of the group. He is playful and fun, but I've seen Johnny get super serious and get really dad like in an instant if he thinks the members are playing around when they need to focus. He also gets in the middle if he thinks an argument might start and calms everyone down tells them to not fight or get mad, especially when tensions are high. (TY doesm it too, but I've noticed Johnny just naturally does it before TY has to.) And because Johnny is the biggest and stongest and the second oldest, they are a little scared to upset him. Johnny would never hurt them obviously, but they listen to and respect Johnny as well.

Best leader seriously. I can't believe there is one person going around SM just fine after telling him if NCT fails it will be his entire fault. That he was not good enough. If this person still has a job after that I'll throw hands! He needs to hear every single day that he's doing more than enough.
