A little bit background, She started with Girls' Generation in 2007 as the leader and main vocalist and officially debuted as soloist in 2015. She is still part of the group but currently the group is in hiatus. Before she debuted as soloist, she had a lot of OSTs under her belt and named as OST queens. (That's why her debut was highly anticipated and people actually wondered why it took her so long to debut as a solo artist since she's well known as a great singer not only from the group activities but also from her OSTs). People expected her to debut with ballad since her emotion delivery in a song is no joke but she surpassed everyone expectation by debuting with I instead. Moving forward she didn't and doesn't limit herself to certain genre, in her latest interview she said her goal is "to sing anything and doesn't sound awkward" so versatility is expected if you going down for this journey. Omg there’s so much for you to check out. 11:11, Fine, why and rain are my favorite. She also have some killer B Tracks like Ur, all night long, and Gravity just to name a few. She’s one of the greatest vocalist of the second generation kpop. Also check out some Girl’s Generation too!

Fun fact : Taeyeon is also from Jeonju (same hometown as wheein :D). And as you already heard, taeyeon also have this very beautiful voice (same as wheein too), anddd the last but not least shes also on par with wheein in terms of cuteness and randomness. (BASICLY THEYRE THE SAME PERSON XDD) I think you will like taeyeon alot once you dive deeper.. my recommendation is try listen to "Four Seasons", both the studio and live (because the live sounds soo amazing with live vocals and band)
