Taeyeon's famous for singing ballads. but she has songs over many different genres. i would recommend "baram x3" or "stress" for a more fun/upbeat performance. i would also recommend you watch some of her live performances on the show "begin again 3" though i would say that all of her concert performances are top quality. my absolute favorite Taeyeon songs are "four seasons" ""gravity" "vanilla" and "wine"

She's one of the top best selling Korean Soloist and consider as a gem by South Korea. She received Song of the Year last year with her song ""Four Season"" beating huge Groups like BTS, Blackpink and Twice.

The main reason why I rank Taeyeon as my best vocalist of all time is because she can convey raw emotions with the way she sings, and I honestly think this video does not showcase those enough.

taeyeon is an absolute gem! i've always been really touched by how much she loves music and performing. she's actually a really shy and reserved person, which is why her concert stages are so much better than her music show/award show performances (which is CRAZY since music shows & award shows have prerecorded vocals and her concert ones are completely live with a live band to boot). you can really tell when she's comfortable (when she's performing for fans) because it shows 100% in her stage. nevertheless, she's always been amazing, ever since her debut in 2007. i remember her saying that there's nothing besides singing that she can do well so she just sticks to being a singer instead of venturing into acting and other things (even the variety show she's on rn is about songs). she still regularly takes vocal lessons despite being at the top of the kpop scene vocally (and sales-wise as a solo artist, along with iu). she's just very, very sincere about singing and performing and the passion she has for it has never once died down even after 14 years of being a singer. i love her.

And THAT makes her a great artist!!! Plus producers(?) describe Taeyeon a woman who’s like divorced 10 times because of her emotions when singing. Such a talented queen indeed. Not just power but a storyteller. In addition, she really cares for her voice. She knows how to use it despite the hours of her concert + powerful high notes, she’s so great with her voice!

It really took a toll on her coz Jonghyun is like a brother to her, then another SM artist, f(x) Sulli last October 2019 whom she treated like her little sister/daughter then her friend KARA's Goo Hara last November 2019 (Hara got really affected by Sulli's death, coz they're really bestfriends) and last year the most heartbreaking part when her dad passed away on her birthday. He had a heart attacked in the morning. 😭 She was supposed to release her new song "Happy" that day. Less than 2 months later her grandmother passed away too.

Not to mention the hate she got when she was active as a member of SNSD, she was blamed for almost every scandal about SNSD, she was traumatized by almost being kidnapped ON STAGE, all things with Wiz Khalifa, that one time the antifan come to TTS's fanmeet just to insult her, a lot of her own 'fans' blamed her for what happened to Jessica, the hate she got just because she's DATING and she has to apologized publicly for being in relationship 😭 Our leader has been through a lot and I'm glad she's doing so much better lately

So when I was first getting into kpop, I was super into EXO and Baekhyun was my bias so when the news about Baekhyun and Taeyeon dating came out, I was super curious who Taeyeon was and decided to look up who she was... that was the first time I ever really paid attention to Taeyeon and omg... I fell in love lol. Her voice was just on another level and the way she managed to convey such deep emotions through just her voice and singing alone just blew me away. And to top it all off, she was just so cute and loveable, I could totally see why anyone would fall for her. Since then, Taeyeon has been one of my most favorite artists and I don't think that's ever gonna change haha. I personally love the song 11:11 the most, there's just something about the song and her voice that just feels so comforting. Thanks for the reaction, loved it as always!

I remember when she "debuted" with I, it was so hard to see her uncomfortable on stage when she was alone after so many years with the girls. And seein her now, it's such a relieve!!

Taeyeon is an incredible singer. Can you imagine WheeinxTaeyeon collab? This is what I want and currently not impossible as she's already with Ravi's company. Ravi often collab with SM artists and he's always featuring in SM station.
