yes, King Taeyeon. Taeyeon is a soloist who debuted in 2015. She is the Leader of the group Girls Generation (SNSD) who debuted in 2007. They are the Senior group of the 2nd Generation with (TVXQ, Super Junior, BIGBANG ) and more.

As far as soloists that came out of kpop groups go, Taeyeon is THE one. Of course you have 3rd-4th gen idols who gained access to much wider audience with their groups and are able to show great numbers, especially with physical sales and international streaming, but most of them are yet to turn their 1-2 hits into a long term solo career. Taeyeon has been topping charts solo from 2008 with her OSTs. She has officially debuted as a soloist in 2015 and has released a long list of hits ever since. 15 years into her career, she's still killing charts and beating trendy idols half her age in brand reputation ratings. She's SM Entertainment's biggest digital performer despite the long lineup of very successful artists in their roster. With her rather calm and reserved personality and very modest promotion SM tends to give her, her important status in the industry may not seem quite so obvious, but Taeyeon is an S-Tier artist in Korea.

I saw Taeyeon on the thumbnail and I CLICKED🤩. The legend of Kpop! Would love to see more Taeyeon on the channel! Such an icon, 15 years since debut and still rocking it. I recommend reacting to "Fine" (the live concert version is FOREVER ICONIC), "Something New" (kind of similar to this), Top 10 emotional singing moments from Taeyeon, "What do I call You" (kinda funky), "Weekend" (PERFECT to play on a drive) and "Stress"

Taeyeon is incredible, I'm a HUGE fan of her solo career even though I'm only a casual listener of Girls' Generation (who are great in their own right, don't get me wrong). "What Do I Call You" by Taeyeon is seriously one of my favourite songs ever. Some other amazing ones are "Fine", "Four Seasons" and "Weekend"; and I really love her Japanese singles "Stay" and "VOICE". "Circus" is probably my favourite b-side, I think there's a live version of it somewhere.

She has many good songs so you can check by your own 😂. Last but not least, TAEYEON IS THE GENRE.
