Hats off to all the backup dancers who are able to elegantly match up Taemin's moves..Taemin you flow like water and cut like fire...Your moves are sharp like stones and hot like lava....

he is mostly dancing in the middle so the eyes focus on him naturally; he also is the only person who has slim trousers, not sweatpants, so looks the slimmest and the brain is suggested that he is also the tallest. overal: we've been tricked. but we love it, don't we? :)

okay but the fact that at the end, the back-up dancers were panting heavily and couldn't get up but baby cheese here decided to be cute and hyper and smiley. i will combust.

I really love to watch Taemin's legs when he dances. He moves his legs so effortlessly so smooth. I've never liked to watch anyone's legs while dancing, but Taemin's legs... Gosh!!! His foot works are unbelievable and so much satisfying!!!

Serious question: Do his feet look big? I always wonder why he wears shoes that make his feet look so big :-) He has tiny delicate hands and puppy feet! There is a video with him barefoot and his feet are small -- but the shoes! The stylist should not let him wear them. I find it so distracting

@@daysjours I don’t think his feet are small, no sane dancer would dance in shoes that are too big for him, that would be very risky and uncomfortable (I can imagine he could get blisters all over his feet in such circumstances). My view on it is that he has relatively big feet and on top of it he has the ability to spread wide his toes, which probably helps him a lot with maintaining his balance. I noticed he has a great sense of balance and always admired it and I think his feet help him with that.

I do think though that sometimes the STYLE of the shoe he wears makes his foot look big -- like a puppy dog :-) I agree with you that it is not the actual SIZE of the shoe that is too big but a style that makes his foot look larger than it is. He is just such a magnificent dancer -- it goes so beyond skill. It is effortless and natural -- with decades of hard work to make it seem that way!!

Even among a group of insanely talented dancers, Taemin demands the full, undiluted attention of whoever's watching. Fight me.

Sometimes I just watch Taemin’s footwork for the whole video because the way he constantly shifts his weight around on his feet is really mesmerizing

Just gave me something else to watch and be overwhelmingly impressed by... 👁👄👁 Woooow. Talk about light on your feet! Thanks for pointing his footwork out! I always feel like I have to vaguely stare at dancers' entire bodies or else I'm missing out - really I've been missing out by not analyzing individual body parts one by one 😅 brb, off to go check out every other dance where I've slept on his footwork...!!

Even when his clothes blends in with everyone else, his control, artistry, and technique make him stand out. There is no one who does it like he does.

@@daysjours I do watch the other dancers, but my main focus is on Taemin. Idk, they just compliment him so well and it's obvious they have great chemistry when they dance together. It's almost like they dance as one person rather than separate individuals. And in this case, for the chorus, the way they dance so uniformly with each other almost enhances the dance overall.

@@Lena-zn4re I have to start to watch the way you do. There is a German expression for that -- it is Gestalt. If means seeing the whole package. For example, maybe a person is not really that pretty or handsome but has enormous charm and intelligence - then the Gestalt is they are good looking. I have to broaden out my vision. I get frustrated because I truly do not believe I appreciate the full beauty of Taemin -- he moves so fast that my brain doesn´t compute. I loved watching him teach Haechan because slowly done you see the complexity of each move!

*I will not be biased. Honestly I can say Taemin is the king of kpop. Not because of hype and popularity but because of his experience, his performance, his capacity, his capability and all. He even dubbed before as the Idol's Idol because even Hyungs and Maknae's in the industry admires him. And until now, off cam, when idols met him, the way they talk you can see their respect to Taemin. He is the best dancer on whenever generation he start until now he maintains that status. I will not compare Taemin to my bias or yours because I know he's on top. Shawol or not should recognize that coz that's the truth.* ❤️

He is the kindest, sweetest, most humble idol out there. I have to bring names in, but there’s a reason. Kai and Jimin are his two biggest rivals in dance. They have similar styles and skills and could have a legit competition. But he’s best friends with them. They don’t care who’s best. They know they’re all good and their friendship means more than all else. Shows what kind of person he is. They respect him as their sunbaenim and love him as their hyung and he treats them like brothers, not rivals. Fans should take note. Be like Taemin. Don’t be competitive, jealous a-holes lol.

What I love about him and quite a few other dancers is that he doesn't pursue dance as a profession but as an art. He can depict takes and make you feel the whole song through his song. And as you rightly said, this man is the real deal in kpop

i admire him so much ..the way he minimizes his torso movement but at the same time he goes max with his limbs ooofff so smooth

He is a completely different person on stage and a completely different person in life. I have never met such a special person

Still camera, no edit, squeaky shoe dance practices are superior. They really make you appreciate the raw choreography.

The more I see IDEA the more I realize he really went and made a compendium of his own greatest stage choreos. With most artists the more you watch a video the more you start to pick up on tiny flaws etc, but with Taemin the more you watch the more awesome it gets - also the more devastating because it really is the end of an era. Korea + JP are his main fanbases so I get that he may focus there, but I hope he does a US Tour before he enlists and fully breaks into the western market

진짜 어나더클라스.. 지금도 충분히 인정받고 있지만 더더욱 인정받아야 하고 재평가 받아야 하는 가수. 진짜 어려워 보이는 춤인데 가볍게 춘다는 것은 엄청난 연습의 결과가 아닐까 충격적인 것은 이 춤에 라이브를 소화한다는 것.

The difficulty with this choreography is that it is too fast. Every year Taemin surprises us with different types of dance and makes it seem easy until you really try.. :( He is definitely the best solo dancer so far and to top it off having to sing while your body moves fast ¡OMG!😳👏

0:32, it may look like he isn’t putting energy into it but you can really see the details when Taemin dances compared to his backup dancers. His movement are very controlled, smooth, sharp and very clean.

Yes, he is really in control of his dance, not over or underdance. And i really like this part because he control his dance whilst it's the first drop in the music. The almost chaotic drop with how much control he did really bring a nice contrast

@@daysjours Honestly, a lot of people don’t notice those small intricate details. Taemin has mentioned how important details are for him and that he tend to add meaning to every movement he does. That it isn’t simply following the choreography, movement by movement. I find that very intriguing, so I started paying more attention to those small details. I look at his performances in a different way now and it made me appreciated and respect Taemin even more.

I just want to say that I'm blessed to experience Taemin's talent and greatness.

The way he dances, smooth yet so strong and sharp, I'm beyond amazed by him. So proud of the recognition that he has been having lately... Taemin is unreal. #SHINeeisBack #StanSHINee #StanTalent

블랙으로 맞추어서 입으니 더 다크한 이데아가 잘 표현되고 춤선이나 동작이 더 잘보여서 현장감 있고 파워풀해보이네요~ 태민과 댄서분들이 3분 좀 넘는 시간동안 멋진 무대를 위해 얼마나 많은 동작을 하는지 볼수 있었고 끝부분에 다들 헉헉~대시는거 보면 얼마나 힘든춤인지 크게 느낄수 있었어요. 근데 태민이는 노래도 하면서 한다니 진짜 대단한 갓탬입니다! 마지막 귀엽게 주먹지면서 이데아 많이 사랑해주세요 다가오는 태민에 심장이 녹았어요☺️ 멋진 춤 연습을 볼 있는 영상이였어요~감사합니다.

When I found out Kasper, Bailey Sok, Ian Eastwood, and Keone Madrid all choreographed this I pretty much ascended to the afterlife. Legends working with legends.

YES ! One of the females here is a choreographer named Rian. She is the one with the cropped sweater. She has her own KZread channel as well. GIRL CRUSH !!! 2:24 She is the one on your far left. I've been watching this man dance for 12 years.... and i still can't fathom how a human's body can move and flow like this. truly an art form, taemin is truly the idol of idols

I have never heard of Taemin until now. But all I can say is, he is the best dancer I've seen in Kpop industry. Like damn he can go feminine and masculine in his moves. That's really something. I guess I have to stan now

역시 안무영상은 무대랑은 또다른 보는 맛이 있어... 유기적인 안무 흐름이 눈에 딱딱 들어오고 태민이 동작 정확 깔끔한거 너무 잘 보이고 댄서들과 전체적인 움직임이 한눈에 들어와서 넘좋음 진짜 작품하나 보는 것 같다 이 안무영상을 전국민 출근길 영상으로 틀어줘라... 보고 기운 얻게

Underrated opinion: The backup dancers should be honored and noticed because they are skilled enough to follow up Taemin

여태까지 보여줬던 춤을 출 바엔 다신 추지 않겠다던 NEVER GONNA DANCE AGAIN의 뜻을 단번에 이해할 수 있는 영상. 10년이 지나도 늘 새롭고 진화하는 이태민. 안무영상이 이렇게 황홀할 수가 있나
