i still listen to it in 2022, the lyrics are so good and i wish people paid more attention to this song and real music more instead of songs that only talk about money and love

What I think the song means: "I fake my black lies like it's true across the white smile" he knows he's lieing but he uses his smile and charm to make it believable The sincerity behind the smiling mask" he is using a mask to cover up his true self "My false without any facial expression to you is natural to me" He's use to lieing so it's becoming natural to him he doesn't have try so hard to hide it You Know when Pinocchio lies his nose gets long that what he means by that he wants to be Pinocchio he wasn't to be able to lie but you to see the truth because him lieing is hurting him more than it's hurting you because he knows the truth I got some of the lyrics wrong but you can still understand what I'm coming from

I know that there are some parts which probably have a better translation than the One I used😁 I had to do the translation myself and English is not my native language so I am not surprised if there are better expressions for some lines😂 thank you for helping!💓

Well this song fits Jonghyun doesn't it? Hiding pain of his depression behind a smile. I didn't know who he was until he died all though I knew SHINee for ten years I never knew their names. I became a fan of Taemin recently and also watched some SHINee stuff. He seemed like a lovely guy full of smiles but little did we know he was extremely depressed.

Everyone knew he was depressed he literally spoke about on television and even cried. His members knew also they didn't think it was that bad though. He never hid his depression some people just ignored it.

@@tralaiab3193 Yeah I know but as a person who has high depression as well I can say I have friends who have really bad depression and when they get bad episodes they keep it all inside and never show it. It's hard to describe depression you isolate yourself from everyone when you have episodes. I just wish he could've reached out but saying that I never reached out when I had the worst episodes which to I almost lost my life to it. Sorry if I offended you but I genuinely know how he felt cuz I've exactly been there at the same place.
