Taemin is such a huge MJ fan and is heavily influenced by him and could be seen in his other songs, choreos, fashion, and mv’s. Tbh I’m sad that MJ ain’t here to see taemin’s growth. I’m sure he would’ve love to meet taemin and probably would’ve preformed with him. Highly recommend criminal, danger, move, thirsty, and drip drop.

don’t know if this was influenced by MJ or pure coincidence but taemins “drip drop” performance mv and MJs black or white mv were filmed in the same place. it’s a very popular filming spot so it’s a possible coincidence (the flinstones and star trek was filmed there)

Yes TAEMIN is really playing the piano and he can play other instruments but he mainly dances and sings as well as sing-raps sometimes.

His group Shinee are legends and Taemin himself is the definition of a complete artist. He is te idol of idol: it means for the past ten years+ other idols wanted to become idol watching him. You can found hundreds of idols referencing to him as their role model. He is one of the pilar of kpop. Him and his group paved the way for other groups today. Taemin's been in the game since he was like 14. His biggest idol was Micheal Jackson so of course you can see the influence. There's no one like him really. He's also apart of one the biggest kpop groups, SHINee. They were always just doing out of the box shit, trendsetters. The members are doing mainly solo stuff now as Taemin is in the military. Check out Taemin's Move. Also Key(SHINee) just released Gasoline, great song amazing visuals, I think you'll love it!

I loved your reactions because that’s how I feel every time I see him. He’s so unique, an amazing singer, a dancing king and a mesmerizing performer. The last few years he’s been able to have more input, to the point he now is involved in all aspects. From the moment I first heard and saw him perform in 2017, I was hooked and he is my favourite period across all genres and countries. He’s also very popular in Japan. He sells out all his concerts in S. Korea and Japan in the large stadiums. I won’t repeat the other songs/mvs already mentioned but I do recommend you check out his live performance of Black Rose on The Stage. I’m very excited that you now have been introduced to Taemin.

TAEMIN “IDEA” - I know everyone has their own opinions/views; here’s mine 🤯 I dont even know where to begin with my thoughts, so much going on in the MV opens up of him meeting with himself in jail, so many scene changes, flashing forest with hanging people and dooming us by having BOA saying “Killing Me Softly” 👻 including silver silhouette figure of him and dont even get me started on his fashion ICONIC he giving us crop top Taemin including covering his Tattoo with a bandage 👀 TAEMIN WITH A TATTOO 😭 HE’S GROWN UP SO MUCH. It gives a continuous of his ‘Never Gonna Dance Again : Act 1 - Criminal’ album after he gets caught and bails out then shows up in a famous designers’ cafè known as Sokcho City on top of being shown singing & dancing on stairway to heaven and front of a burning barn behind him representing Hell which gives such a Angel & Demon vibe probably reference of being reborn especially toward the end where he chooses the good side and I wont be surprised if Koharu Sugawara had a hand in the choreography since she helped choreograph major of his dances for his music videos. Taemin is a legend fr. He was the first member of an active SM boy group to debut solo, in 2014 with Danger (highly inspired by MJ, very good). I'd recommend checking out more from him and from his group, SHINee--a second gen boy group, some of the best vocals in the industry, very innovative and inspired many of the third and fourth gen idols. He also participated in the SuperM project as other people have said, which wasn't really my thing but you might like if you're into the louder, noiser style of kpop music. sidenote: this is my first time watching you guys, does your audio always have that echo? lol 😅
