A message to those who think a fighting style is better than another. It depends on the fighter, always. There is no martial art that is better than another martial art, there are fighters that are better than other fighters. Every martial art is intended to help the practitioner defend himself. Championship rules do not apply to practices, only when we practice for championships. (This line was specifically for those who hate karate and tkd.)

There are better martial arts. But it also depends on the fighter. If a MA has hits with all moving body parts, blocking to all those precise attacks, grappling, throwing, ground fighting and a good physical (attacking strength, speed, endurance and defense) and mental (moral, analytical and philosophical) training summed up with a good set of killing, protecting, attacking, neutralizing and escaping techniques, then it can be the perfect martial art. In conclusion, Kudo is the best martial art.

It’s not the form that’s matter, it’s the fighter

Muay Thai and Taekwondo’s the ultimate combination. The TKD practitioner isn’t supposed to do low kicks in a competition but he took advantage of the mma rules so he could do low kicks
Taekwondo can be effective trained properly.

That's what people don't understand, in many games they try to say how in street fighter the martial artists are the fastest characters with good attack range while the fighters are the fastest Heavy ones lack speed and range but have the most powerful attacks

This is a very normal Taekwondo move, Taekwondo is based on distance and speed but one thing you should never forget the main thing is strategy
You can see at the end where the arts do the most damage. For the muay Thai he held his chest from those devastating back and side kicks but taekwondo was holding his legs from those crazy Muay Thai shin kicks
How did the camera man get so close to the scene, he got some good angles 🗿
cant believe its been 10 years since this dropped. Yall did good with this piece!
Always loved this video and it's good to see it again. It's what got me into TKD!
0:17 In a real case scenario, the muay thai guy could just land clean and hard punches straight towards the taekwondo guy's face, and if the taekwondo guy isn't really prepared for those shots, then......
The visuals really made this look like a movie

the fact that they both start learning from each other as they go on longer
It turned out to be a movie.
Taekwondo will let your legs strong but Muay Thai will let legs and hands strong because it contain movements with hands and legs

When it comes to long range, Taekwondo shreds, but in close range Muay Thai is just superior. That poor taekwondo guy got beaten up in close range.

The fact that the muay thai guy didn't get a single full power knee, or elbow or even a punch made it look staged af

The choreography was amazing and the ending was unexpectedly funny 😂 Funny because back when I trained, I’ve been hit *there* and it isn’t pleasant, so I relate.

@@WhirlwindAction nice
I like how they start picking up each other's moves, like the spinning hook kick from the Muay Thai guy and the kick catch/sweep from the tkd guy
Very nice video with realistic combinations 👌
One of the greatest choreography than almost any action movie out there. Great job you guys. Respect to both
Wow...his techniques are so perfect and spectacular 🤩 very quick and accurate. It's really satisfying to watch.
I like that the Taekwondo guy used his hands more because most people think of it just being kicks, as someone who trained taekwondo it incorporates punches kicks and even throws and counter attacks.
Good stuff from the early days good to see your motivated well and have the drive to carry on all the best to you and fight on
i just wanted to let you know that the combinations starting from 1:04 and 1:21 were big inspiration for most of the ways I fought in my taekwondo club and I am one of the best now and have won 2 tournaments. I was close to beginner when I first saw your video
Love this thank you
se que es falso pero es entretenido
Already know that this is scripted but was definitely entertaining.
Taekwondo and May Thai. I like them both.

Felicidades.
That was amazing tricks and skills

Cool coreography, when the real fight starts?
Need more front snap kicks and front thrust kicks. Straight kicks are faster and less risky than excessive roundhouse kicks. However, you guys went at it for real and probaqblly harder than some sanctioned professional matches, so I'm still impressed.
Very nice coreo! Congratulations boys!!!
Those Flashy Taewkondo kicks were nailed very nicely. Well done!

Muat thai is better. I trained in both. The concept of techniques is to usw the technique that is more accurate, damaging and less energy consuming. Muay thai achieves this very well. Taekwondo does not. But taekwondo does have some good techniques that are useful.
At the first two minutes, Muay Thai looks like it's being humiliated by Taekwondo.

cuz it depends on the fighter
In a real fight, the result all depends on who has a better training, regarding the martial art.
Tremenda obra maestra 20/10 y God
That was a good fight but the ending was funny
man those kicks you can hear how fast they where
Cross training in both would be complimentary to your kicking abilities, many of the best fighters are crossed trained.
Man, Mica and Shane looked like kids back then!

Es lo mejor que he visto

I like watching taekwondo thanks for the video.
Hollywood-level technique! Holy shit, you guys could be in cinematic release movies!
Great show. ITF TKD I guess (kicks not speed optimized, comparatively a lot of hands used)? Would be interesting video if both had WTF gear: would enable real full contact.

a lot of muay thai guys are too nice with their knees, attacking with the meaty parts rather than the bony part of the knee
Buen ensayo por parte de los dos.
Amazing
