I love how the camera does closeups before these attacks sometimes and you can see that while TP is obviously going hard you know he knows it’s not full gas yet. During the 6 watt per kg 1700 VAM attack phase once he settles in you can then see on his face the extra world class effort but he doesn’t look totally spent but extra determined. TP has the physiology, and racing skills but also the ability to go to that special mental place to be able to push one’s body into that level of output.

In the interview or meeting some fellow rider, Pogi is very gentle and kind but when it comes to serious racing, he's a beast like like cannibal😅

Remco wasn’t up to snuff when the proper big boys were around. I don’t see it changing anytime soon. Will get slapped 10-15 minutes on his first off day in the mountains, will keep pushing in breakaways afterwards. Vuelta 2023 all over again.

Grande ancora Pogacar ! Mi permetto di dissentire sul team UAE : sparito già a metà salita. Con la gente che si ritrova la vedo dura per lui al Giro e maggiormente anche al Tour. Buon per lui che della squadra può farne parzialmente a meno...

@FloBikes Would like to know your opinion please :) Cant Wait for the TDF. Only concern I have is Pogi will have so much racing under those legs when the tdf starts. Since Jonas have beaten him in 2023 (Properly beaten) it always feels as if Pogi have raced to much before the TDF, where Jonas always prepare solely for the Tour. I am still blown away by that time trail from Jonas in 2023, still cant believe he went that quick.

Hard to say. Last year Pogi had that crash with injury and operation and went to TdF without proper training adn still sore hand. This year he will go with proper training but after Giro so he will either be exhausted in second half of TdF or he will be in peak form. I am super excited fort this year TdF with Pog, Jonas, Remco and Roglic.
