@@Dagensmandiskysovs-ew7wdhe's doing things not done in 50-70 years since merckx and coppi. Look at vuelta without him. Other than liege crash his 4th in San Remo is worst result with his calendar that's video game. He was marked man in msr for second year in row. Won Vuelta andelucia, and Paris nice against Jonas. Podiumed 3e3 with wout and vdp just like world's a race he was again only gc rider to excel in no other in top 10 he beat mads in sprint for podium. He won Flanders hardest race of year in record tine as gc rider on cobbles dropping wout and vdp. Finished 2nd at tour ,beat all puncheurs in Ardennes at Amstel and fleche after Flanders and almost did triple with crash taking him out and ruining tour prep. He's aiming for 3rd straight lombardia in couple weeks which would put him with coppi from 50s as 3time winner and tour winner. He's been again clearly best in world. Only rider to beat best rouleurs, puncheurs, and climbers. All while finishing on podium of world's suited to biggest strongest riders it was essentially criterium. Even if you just watch your how was that bad performance he won more stages than any other gc rider. Didn't wear fairings for his itt. C'mon talking about milk sound like you're drinking vodka saying that. Or jumbo visna Kool aid. Look at vuelta how race is done. Remember tourmalet from tour tadej followed kuss attack and then countered Jonas. Watch all season man you get great perspective of all intricacies of all different races and disciplines to help you thrive in each. Makes it clear he's not just best of generation he will be in conversation with merckx, hinault, coppi

@@ryanphelan6861 Only a fool would not agree with you that Tadej is phenomenal. The best cyclist of the modern era. But read the comment again: "No one can climb like Tadej Pogacar". This is untrue, no one can climb like Vingegaard. He is above and beyond everyone else in this disciplin which arguably makes him a better GC-rider than Tadej. Tadej is the better rider in general.

He rode unicycle as a kid to entertain town people. He was actually doing it outside bud before lombardia ☺️. So he's literally always loved riding like messi with football. Cuts both ways when he's having fun his performance captures imagination to me much more like coppi than merci who was gifted but doggedly determined. Coppi just was an anomaly fascinated by things outside cycling, and tadej training with his partner, he's so mature beyond his years and has raced since 12_13 he's born to race. He doesn't get upset resting heart rate probably 20 lol 😂 I've been watching since hinault and lemons and remco really reminds me of hinault on his good days I don't see any merckx. Fabian, Sean Kelly, lucho , Alberto, Greg, Gilbert, valverde, nibali, Sagan. All great tadej belongs in anquetil, bartali, coppi, gimondi, merckx, hinault conversation he's just entering his prime and already won Flanders which Eddy could only win once it's truly for the brutes museum, Boonen, Fabian, van petegem. Yet tadej in two tries bottled finish on one and one the other finishing second in tour both years while racing his nationals, worlds, and winning lombardia to finish season. His coach has said I can't control him every one wants him to just focus on your but he wants new challenges and he wants to win everything. That's once a lifetime rider.

Back in the 90's I was really fit, and used to train with a World Cup pro mountain bike racer. You have to know he was damn good as he raced road as well for the National team as well. I thought at one time I was almost able to stay with him on climbs, then one day a group of us went out with my mate and his Swiss team mate, who happened to be world champion MTB rider, and we a 160km ride, 75km of rolling then a 5 km climb... My memory of was watching them spin away in the big ring, chatting between themselves as we all gasped and spluttered, fanning our gears madly trying to even stay close.... I knew I'd get dropped but not like that... lol

I wish you would have discussed the drivetrain, ie, the size of chainrings and the choice of cassette, because a 60kg rider can easily run an 11-28 cassette and remain seated, whereas a 75kg rider with the same cassette may have to alternate between spinning and standing and is more likely to blow up.

I love the sport but a least make it look like a race Wout winning TT and field sprints then dropping the climbers on the hardest mountain stage really? It’s a joke

How to climb like a TdF winner? Simple. Enroll in the Lance Armstrong doping program and you'll climb like a billy goat.
