How many feet did you use for this project?

General rule is 1inch of cobra stitch needs 1feet for paracord. Just remember that is if your stitching over an object aprox. 2 bits of paracord in size.

I have this exact model so I was happy to see not only that it was done on the gun I'll be doing to, but how well you demonstrated the the wrap in the video, compared to some others, so thank you!

I would add that before doing this you should liberally oil any part of the lever that will be wrapped to prevent rust in case it gets wet. Great tutorial.

I ran this braid in black and will say that taking a sharpie to the fray before you melt the ends makes for a very clean finish

Sweet! Took me a few rewinds and playing at -2X speed and I got it after a minute. That was awesome! It's so much more comfortable on the quick lever loading action. Thank you from Canada brother. My marlin SBL feels great now! Going to change the color of the Paracord haha because I only had emergency orange but I learned a lot. Thanks again for teaching me something I've wanted to learn for long time.

Super underrated channel. Your intro is something out of a 90s classic tv show and your direct, to the point, and go slow enough to follow. The algorithm better bump this man!

Just what I needed. Wrapping a couple levers this afternoon. Thanks! PS - it occurred to me as you were finishing: One could run a green or black marker over the white threads before melting the ends, and the finish would blend in more.

Must have followed your instructions wrong because my wrap is back to front whoops. That pattern you have visible is on the inside of my loop. Still looks fine so I'm going to keep it! Thanks for video

I think that leather dyed black would look clean. Para cord would be useful for a survival situation. Great video thanks.

How’s the guns lever after a while of field use, any moisture/rusting issues? Also, do you find the caliber good for hog or other critters? Thanks!

Im assuming you are refering to the lever. I have not got it wet, and there are no rust marks. I took it off a few weeks ago to redo it in black paracord and no issues. Just like if i wrapped it in leather, if i got it wet, i would be taking it off, drying and oiling the lever. As for 44 mag, it will handel most things within 100, with the right ammo.
