THANK YOU!! always felt intimidated to try this, but this video was super quick and easy. Very grateful. gave my new hunting knife a much better feel.
I love how simple and good-looking this is. It's literally just tying a bunch of basic knots around a handle, but it works so well!
thank you, i just repaired my old bundeswehr knife. the sleeve was broken, i covered the old sleeve with paracord, it is so nice now

Congratulations :D I'm sure it looks sexy now.
Thanks for the tutorial. I just bought a machete and I'm going to Paracord the handle. This is nice and easy yet effective way to do that. I appreciate it!
Thank you. My first attempt at knife making and I love this handle.
This was exactly what I was looking for to hide the transitions between colors on a multicolor paracord project I'm doing. Thank you. Your video was very helpful.

I customized my kikkerland katana handle umbrella with paracord wraps and weaves like this and it truly feels like my own now!
Thanks for this video! I really hope it's as simple as you make it look. If my project turns out as good as it looks in my mind I'll have you to thank!!!
Thank you! I got the hang of it and nicely repaired my hatchet only halfway into the video!
Thank you, used this for a hatchet I found in the woods. Cleaned it up and used this to replace the handle. This was my first time using paracord and this video made the process very easy. /salute

Love this lesson. My first try at this. Looks and feels great . Will try another style next.
Found this video looking for methods of wrapping the handle on the tomahawk I use for camping (skinny wooden handle that gets slick in rain) worked perfectly and looks great

Very well done how to and I say thank you for taking the time and putting the energy and thought into teaching those of us who are not well versed in making paracord knots. Who gives a greasy turkey IF "the second "small loop" has nothing to do with anything." To those who complain about your method of teaching, all I can say is, I don't see any how to videos from them...So thank you again for caring enough to teach a new skill to those who genuinely want to learn and grow with.

Thanks for this. I just got a great new knife but the handle has a couple of issues that will be sorted with a paracord wrap. I think this method is the best one for me.
Without any doubts you are to be an excellent teacher. . teaching skill is an art sadly menny huge amounts lack it & yet they call themselves teacher ! Thumbs up for you your teaxhing skills i loved the parts especially first one you give oeople ample time to learn it by heart without any notes taking 👍😍
Nicely done! This was very helpful. Now I’m going to do mine in the same manner.

Simple and effective as well as having a very nice look. I am going to try this as an axe handle guard.
Very nice, I've made bracelets with this knot but that handle looks terrific and I bet gives a really good grip.

Thank you for this simple but effective tutorial. I’m going to do this now on my SOG FastHawk tomahawk.

Great job, looks nice. I have found it helpful to add a couple of small drops of super glue to the last knot to keep it tight.
Thank you for the video. First time trying. Easy video to follow. Wish I could upload the pic of the finished product. Thank you again.!

AWESOME!!! I want to wrap all my stuff in paracord, so freakin cool, thanks for the video!
I really irritated my brother today and it caused him to have a bit of a breakdown. First I burst through his door and kept yelling "GIVE ME A HUG!" in a weird voice. Afterwards I decided to fix up a machete of his. The cord was a complete mess and the blade was extremely rusted. I got most of the rust off but I didn't know how to fix the cord. This video helped me a lot. Thank you very much! This really helped! Thank you.

So simple yet neat. It looks like it would be comfortable too. A suggestion - Use a heat gun and melt "Sno-Seal" into the paracord and it becomes waterproof and grippy.

Thanks for this video it helped a lot and was as detailed as it could be.
Used your method to put a nice cord hilt wrap on my Cold Steel practice sword, for years it's bothered me that the hilt was just a little bit skinny for my hands. Not any more! And the cord gives a better texture than the polycarbonate. Thanks!
Dude! ❤ This was awesome. I had to rewatch the video a few times while attempting to wrap a handle but I got it. And it looks amazing! Thank you for doing this!

I don't get it, why is it necessary to wrap it with paracord ? Please explain to me.... Thanks.
@helheimforge
Жыл бұрын
@@Ingca1234 it boils down to 2 things, shape of the handle & cheapness. If the handle is odd shaped and intricate with alot of tight spaces then Paracord wrap might be the option. Also if you have no handle material they sell Paracord at any hardware store for cheap.
Best looking handle wrap I have seen and so simplistic!

Hey mate. I truly do hate when people over complicate to educate. Tie a square knot from top to bottom........done. Anyway im in a wrong site coz i typed whip cream , paracord knot, country wife (might have typed knife by mistake) and it led me here...carry on.
Awesome and just what I needed! Many thanks!!

Why is everybody so critical? Even if one unnecessary step is shown, it's still very easy to follow, the video is only five minutes long, and you get the idea from the very beginning. Does every idea need to be presented in a perfected fashion? Anyway, the second small loop just makes it easier to pull the remaining cord through. It's just a little convenience trick, super helpful when using very long pieces of cord.
@Bighorn1478
3 жыл бұрын
The way he makes the second loop and pulls it through is how you keep the cord from getting twisted up. If you just stick the end through and pull it will get twisted.
Thanks man really helped me with making my knife.
thank u. i just did it and it worked!
I always put a couple drops of water thin CA glue on the end knot of my wraps for a little added insurance.
Thank you!

for the Tightest knots, soak the cord in water before beginning. also dip the handle in a rubberized coating to slow rusting
