Tactical Cronex replica First Spear Tubes, Review.

Hey everybody welcome back to another episode of Muddy Reviews, in this video we are checking out the Tactical Cronex (Amazon special) Replica First Spear Tubes quick release buckle cummerbund adapter. These are absolutely an Airsoft item but might be sturdy enough for duty use but that is to be seen.
I have used First Spear Tubes in the past in my day job in the US Navy and came to really like them. They were very user friendly and made donning and doffing your plate carrier extremely easy and I became rather fond of them. Since I am currently using a Haley Strategic Thorax cummerbund on my Ferro Concepts FCPC V5 plate carrier the Ferro quick release option wasn't viable for my cummerbund so I needed to try something to get a quick donning and doffing option for the Thorax cummerbund on my FCPC V5. That is where this Tactical Cronex faux tube system comes in.
I had found a set of these faux tubes at a local Army Surplus store months back and they weren't complete trash and I tried them on my sons JPC and he liked them and I also gave them a go on my WAS Recon with a diffrent cummerbund so I figured these should work well enough for the Haley cummerbund and the FCPC V5. My suspicions were well founded and these were very decent for being Airsoft faux tubes.
The installation wasn't difficult and the ability to quickly enter me FCPC V5 was considerably better than opening the velcro and lifting the Dope flap everytime. If you are interested in these you can find them on Amazon at the below link, I paid 22.32$ USD with free Amazon Prime shipping.

I hopw this review was useful for you and you got something out of this, always I appreciate you taking the time to stop in and check out my content. Get out there play some Airsoft, try different stuff, Larp smarter Not harder and above all else, Take care.

I bought one of these knock offs and i was wondering what those two straps were for. I put it on my 6094 G3 and honestly the tube system should be an industry standard. I prefer having both on so i can easily lift the carrier over my head.

Well I am glad you got to see what those straps are for. I do like Tubes quite a bit but I will say that the smaller tubes that are meant for the Ferro Concepts 3AC structural cummerbund are not as nice as full sized tubes in my opinion.

One of the plate carriers that’s locally made here (sorta based on the JPC 1.0, minus the holes on the shoulder straps which were meant to snake the hydration tubes through, via 500D or 1000D Cordura, tailors here are damn awesome if you like to get some Philippine uniforms for collection but getting them overseas is sorta out of the question) happens to be rocking the quick release tubes, and been wanting to mess around with them as well when I can afford them for serious use and BB wars. Would love to get the First Spear tubes for an SPC and possibly the AVS, not really for the Strandhögg since it already comes preinstalled.

@@Muddy_Reviews Of course! Mentioned it in one of your videos before, which was the one where I mentioned about myself building the French PMC loadout from MGS4. As for the NAVSOCOM (originally known as NAVSOG) tiger stripe, that one is pretty hard to get, so are camouflage patterns that are currently used by our special forces units here, because of the laws being enforced, as we’ve been dealing with a lot of guerrilla warfare and terrorism since 1950s when your military helped our government in forming a badass special forces group with 2 legendary US branches, the Alamo Scouts, and the battle ready Army Rangers, which we eventually got the 1st Scout Ranger Regiment, known as Musangs for short nickname, and is also known as *Abu Sayyaf’s worst nightmare* which they do earn thanks to their proficiency in counter-guerrilla tactics, and jungle warfare deep behind enemy lines in the shadows, where they mostly thrive in. History aside, chances of you getting the NAVSOG tiger stripe (as identified with brownish orange on the colorway over olive green instead of normal brown) for collection wise is pretty slim, I could be wrong, but there’s some guy in Manila that sells military uniforms (from 1950s when tiger stripes used by most branches here were very prolific before it became very limited where only NAVSOG and the Army Special Force Regiment (A-SFR aka Filipino Green Berets) until present, including the non-issued ones as well), you might have to ask the locals around there about him, and of course look around in the IACMC Militaria Forum to learn more info as my knowledge is pretty limited. One camo I’ve been wanting to get my hands on would be the Jungle MARPAT, otherwise known as the Light Reaction Regiment Distinctive Uniform (LRRDU) that’s currently used by our Tier 1 guys, another unicorn camo pattern that’s hard to get.

@Midoriiya Hebi I don't know how I missed that lol. Yeah the LRR cammies are bad ass. A buddy of mine is of Phillipine decent and my Aunt is Filipino. We wanted to do a fictitious JSOTF kit based on the Phillipines and using Tigerstripe camo and wearing the USA/Phillipines arrowheads.

Im sorry I should’ve been more clear. I meant the mag pouches sitting on your left side. I was asking the brand of the two single pouches.

@@t.j.mcnichol4900 those are surplus MTP Osprey pouches, British issued Frag and smoke. British MTP stuff is really common in 🇺🇦 SBU and infantry.
