@@nurfyturf3202 the swaying of the deck shifted the car side to side quickly as it tilted. It was too dangerous to turn and reverse or keep going. He also didn't know when the bridge was going to collapse. And before you go "the car isn't sliding" it's because he parked but when he drove the car slid, nearly toppling over. If you wonder where I got this info, it's from a book about the Tacoma narrows bridge.
