    "Think push up bra if you will" has GOT to be the best analogy of horse tack EVER! I love your vids Fallon. I'm an ole' barrel racer myself so I LOVE watching your vids. Life has taken me away from horses but I still get the thrill and excitement that I did when I was running to watching your vids.. so thank you for giving me back something I lost that I TRULY have missed and pined for...

    Glad to have found you. I just walked through the text store yesterday and had all these questions. My niece just did her first event Saturday and I'm starting to buy her gear. This was very helpful. What stands out to me the most is when you mentioned the characteristics of the horse and all the possible things that could happen while saddling your horse. My niece is 9. She's not truly aware of what could happen while you're standing next to a horse. I'm in construction and safety is huge and I also work with dogs and understand animals. I'll definitely be watching more thank you for your knowledge and wisdom.

    All time favorite video was probably made in like 2012ish? Of you running Babyflo at a rodeo and talking about some of your travel equipment preferences and stuff. You were still rockin the pixie cut at the time. Any time you talk tack or trailer equipment, I love it. Literally the best content imo. Especially with gorgeous new tack to show off 💁‍♀️

    Not an experienced horse person, so I always wondered what the purpose of the breast collar was, besides show. Backup saddle safety feature makes sense. That three year old is a handsome boy, I love his color. Amazing how active Fallon is staying for being pregnant enough that breathing becomes difficult. The end of the last trimester is not much fun, for sure. We're all looking for forward to seeing the baby, and how amazing Fallon and Alex will be as parents.

  • @abbyhoffman4392

    Barrel racers tend to not use them because there is no real benefit if you have a well fitting saddle and they can annoy your horse if they move too much. Barrel horses reach out a lot and do a lot of things that could make equipment move and the last thing you want is a back cinch to slide back and become a flank strap haha.

    There are very few things I disagree with Fallon on but one ear vs browband is huge. For some reason no one wants to put a throat latch on a one ear anymore which means those of us that use leverage or shank bits run the huge risk of the bridle coming off over the ears. A browband almost always has a throat latch so no worry. I love one ears and wish all the cool designs had a flipping throat latch!

  • @kaitlynharrington6957

    @kaitlynharrington6957

    As long as the saddle fits you and the horse, you can start in anything. Once you want to start getting faster a saddle that is made for barrel racing or higher cantle and a seat you like to run in will definitely help. I personally like barrel saddles that are on cutter trees, it has a flatter seat.
