@@csquared3243 I never said I was picking Goyo over smoke for rotates, just mentioning the fact that it exist and that it seems to be faster on average than smoke.

Goyo is more for time denial rather than plant denial. Smoke is for both plant and time denial. Tachanka is for edgy 14 year olds that chant the Soviet Union on the bus ride to school.

I personally really like Goyo. Maybe its the Vector but I like holding areas just outside site with him, canisters on windows to slow a push and place them in strategic choke points to force attackers another way. For me it's simple and straightforward, letting me focus on kills with Goyo. I like Smoke but I'm not good enough to utilize him the best he can anyways lol

Goyo is strong on plane , narrow corridor and few attack point

Make Tachanka's grenades explode on impact, increase the amount of fire produced, make it do more damage and have all grenades loaded into the launcher from the start so no reloading. Also decrease the swap time(maybe model some slings if you want) and you've made Tachanka more effective.

Tachanka is less plant denial, and more suppressive fire. It kinda works the same in some ways, you don't want to plant when there is a big angry Russian shooting down every wall between you and him as soon as he heard the defuse going down, but he plays more of a mental game with the attackers than smoke or goyo do. No op can compare to how scary it is to hear tachanka fire a full drum of ammo into your team, then start unloading fire shells.

Goyos proximity alarms are underrated, they provide helpful info on enemy whereabouts on opposing sites and help give an indication as to when to shoot your volcans.

Proximity alarms imo are underrated they’re so tiny and so loud with good placement it can get you a free kill it’s so good with oryx to pick someone off when roaming but the c4 is generally a better option it’s just too good

I feel like all they need to do to make Tachanka more effective is up the damage and radius of his fire, cause rn all people have to do is run through it and they barely take much damage

Loved the video, I think you didn’t take into consideration that goyos device can also work as vision denial for some drone holes, or how in the case or how because the vulcan can be deployed it can be used by his team even when he dies, but all in all good video.

on some sites its extremly nice for ex. on consulate and chalet basement or even clubhouse garage drone hole since you force them to use the garage door or storage/lobby entry which will achieve nothing if your roamer is doing his job

I think goyo should score higher in versatility since his gadget has MANY different uses, for example you can make a kapkan-goyo strategy where when a kapkan trap goes of it blows the vulcan together allowing kapkan to spread his traps more and goyo to get some easy kills. Smoke and tachanka MUST work as plan denials. But I agree with your conclusion smoke is the best by far

firstly, that kapkan goyo strategy is a waste of utility and will almost never work. second, smoke isnt just a plant denier. i have no clue where you're getting this from. he can deny area, slow down attackers, and use smokes aggressively to block vision and get close. just look at bank blue stairs hold (probably the most famous smoke spot).

You missed Tahchankas greatest asset is he can deny plant from cover and waste far more time just because attackers don't want to run through his fire even if it's range is smaller

You forgot to mention the Goyo proximity alarm trick, where you can place the alarm on the red spot of the Vulcan, meaning that if attackers want to get rid of the proxy they have to trigger the Vulcan. I also like his rush denial capabilities if you place the Vulcan on the barricade, creating a sort of a trap

You should do a comparison on nomad and gridlock for area denial/defuse denial

Where as this is a well structured video, I think these ops are in a way similar to how the hard breachers are in which yes they do their job different but apply stronger to different maps. If you're on Consolate Garage. Goyo is typically a go too since he can also deny the drone hole, can prevent rushing and more. Tachanka and shoot from over white van with constant pressure but smoke is more like to be exposed needing to throw his gadget in a more or less line. Or even how tachanka can put pressure on hookah balc from service door due to his projectiles insane range. Goyo can leave his gadgets for other anchors while he roams or but smoke being one of the best for things like Elbow hold on oregon. Each of the these ops thrive in different ways with strengths and weaknesses I don't feel were fully considered in this video. I do agree Smoke has a greater general versatility that comes mostly from having one of the best shotguns and the smg11.

You can kinda use Goyo like castle and put the canisters on doors to zone iut attackers

I think with the vsn getting a 2x scope that just barley edges out Goyo on this list, I don’t play goyo to much but I’m taking that 2x over the vector and it’s 1.5x, vector used to hit so hard and then idk if they nerfed it when I stop playing but I came back and that thing feels like a pillow gun

Personally, my favorite is unironically Tachunky. While i do think smokes canister is good and see how it can be effective, the amount of shots i can fire iff from the shumikha makes it about worth it, i do think they need to do more damage though. As for his guns, I've never used the VSN on him because fuck that, but i do like his LMG for any long range encounters it can pull off as well as it's high damage and wall murder capabilities.

I love using Goyo for those team that love to rush site. 1 round got bull rushed? Put goyos on main doors of the obj and shallow roam like a old cab main and just hide. I think you scored Goyo way too low on versatility, as Goyo has one advantage that no other plant denial has: his gadget is useful in death. What if Smoke gets naded? What if Tachanka gets peaked? Their plant denial is gone and they were useless for the round other than making rotates. Goyo has guaranteed value to the team. He places his traps and now anyone anywhere can activate plant denial that is reliably more active than the other two. I’d argue that his versatility is damn near 9/10 because of the fact that his denial can be used by the WHOLE TEAM and even activated by enemies on accident with friendly traps or crossfire. Also you can place his traps on drone holes to deny wall on sites like consulate basement and chalet garage just to name a few.

Is echo no plant denial??

the think the overall 123 is accurate but goyo is much higher, hes a close second to smoke if you have teammates that can talk cause his gadget is both better than smokes and can be used by any of your teammates, he does bring less rotate options but hes still a 6-7/10 in versatility

I'd like to use goyo more but even in ranked (gold 1) my teammates just don't use the volcans. I place them next to entrances or at choke points and they just never shoot them, even if its last 30 seconds to end of the round. It happens all the time, i call on comms to shoot them, but still nothing.

Tachanka hold on bank server is really good and I usually take him if we have a goyo

ill be honest to me personally the lord has the best gun on defense his lmg just because it really has no recoil and its doesn't really have dmg drop off plus because of its power you can shoot through most things with out losing and really dmg now since on my team im an anchor i hold site most of the time his ability to hold the line with his mg so no one peeks and you wait for the flank or you 2 tap them makes him valuable plus that 70 rounds is just amazing

I don't get how the Bearing-9 is easier to control than the SMG-11 on PC.

I know at least one room where goyo is best. If you can keep the walls closed on armory throne and have two canister on each door you effectively win that round at the 40 second mark. I play goyo there every time.

Goyo 100% deserves more points. His load out is better than Smokes imo aside from the smg-11 it’s his only benefit. Goyo can block drone holes. Team can use after death. Fire can be a sight blocker. More time can be drawn out of goyo.

To point out that tachanka has to take out his launcher but not mention that smoke literally has to put his weapon away to throw a smoke grenade is crazy. Smoke with the W though 😂

I use goyo as entry denial 🤷🏽‍♂️

Don't even need to watch it smoke by a mile goyo has the problem of placement if it's bad his gadget is pretty useless and king tachanka is way too slow for it to be used efficiently smoke is fairly fast and can throw the smoke far away it doesn't bounce like chakys grenades do bounce and goyo has the problem also of just shooting the cannisters before the defenders can or juts bait that's actually good against all of them

Tachanka speaks Russian and he has a grenade launcher and and dp27 big weapons so he wins

No matter what the Lord will always be number 1 🗿
