Its not at all meant for a Tablet. Its meant for smart TVs all around your house. Its called Tablo because is a Over-The-Air version of Tivo. The entire point of the device is to allow all your smart TVs to use HDTV instead of paying high price for cable or Fubo. Dont confuse the name Tablo with only using it on a Tablet. "Ive never used mine on a Tablet and Ive had it 3 years"

I saw your video on how to setup a Tablo recording device and use it with you iPad but you did'nt show how to watch same show on your TV? How to utiise external drive? Can pen drive work with that?

I’m just waiting for compatibility with Apple TV. If I buy the 4 tuner model now the Apple compatible will just be a software update, right? Or should I wait for the Apple version to come from factory?

For example, for NFL games that are out of my area. I have a VPN that works on my iPad and change the location to another part of the country and it changes my location. Does that allow that to work? or is the antenna portion limited to the amount of miles of your current location?

If you watch the recorded shows is the picture seen during commercial skipping? My Spectrum DVR makes commercial skipping so easy that I'm wondering about a device like this.

I bought the two tuner Tablo. There are a series of frames visible as you fast forward recordings that have finished. If you watch an episode that has not ended there are no reference frames available and thus commercial skipping is relatively easy once the show has concluded.

Is this thing only as good as your antenna reception?

Also, is this the best on the market or is there a rival product that is the industry leader for OTA?

Can I stack 2 of then so I can record 4 things at 1 time?

Can I connect the Tablo using an Ethernet cable and leave my WiFI on for my other devices?

If I cut my account with Comcast which offers a bundle of cable, internet and phone, how can I connect with WiFi since I cut my Comcast account. Your suggestions appreciated. Thank you for the great video of unboxing the Tablo.

You wouldnt get rid of the account you would just focus on paying for Internet and not phone and cable. Unfortunately service providers are still needed in that sense

I already have all my smart tv's hooked up to outdoor external antenna. Can I still use this without using the included antenna?

You can use any antenna 📡. You can just purchase the device only. Is better with an external roof antenna.

i need a sub for my black model but it automatically skipped commercials. Does this one do same?

TABLO eliminated commercial skip a while back. None of the devices have it anymore. It was cool.

2024 March puzzled mine scaned 75 channels only 39 channels watchable had still outdated subchannel .

Yes.

I was told that I will only be able to use the Tablo TV app on my Android Phone only on my home network. Not if I am at a friend's house or at a coffee shop using public Wi-Fi. Is that true? I want to be able to have access to all of my recordings from the Tablo TV and from the DVR. When I am not home. And I also want to be able to watch TV from the Tablo TV device when I am not home from a friend's house or a coffee shop that has public Wi-Fi.

The AirTV Anywhere has that feature. The 4th generation Tablo unfortunately does not. But the old ones did though.

How do you get it to show up on your TV? It works great on phone.

you did not show where the reset button is.

I ordered this, downloaded the app, tried to follow the app. The "so-called" Instruction Manual is USELESS! There are no diagrams or explicit instructions. Thanks for your video seems it's the only source for installation. I have an internet connection, external tv antenna all that's required. Hopefully their Support will help. Not Happy with this so far. Probably returning it. So when you connect the Antenna, So my 2 tv's will be connected thru Wifi, from the TABLO? So any DIRECT CONNECTION from the Antenna ends at the TABLO? I'm returning it.

Pure garbage, I had the older version and it worked great so I upgraded to the 4th gen. Forget watching it on a PC, doesn't work on a Vizio TV, and this last firmware update breaks anyone wanting to watch a video on a Samsung device. I'm returning it.

so there’s NO remote you have to use your phone or touch your tv to use this ??????????
