@TheCeilingFanCollectorHD Yes. Thats absolutely right. 😁👍🏼
When your variants have their own sub-variants that's when you enter the realm of wizardry, like Messi and Ronaldinho in soccer, Curry, James and Doncic in basketball some guys just have a special connection that the rest of us could only wish to have. Still astounded by this video 3 years later.
Thet are all amazing. The amount of spin you get on the forehand reverse is stunning. Its almost like a reverse ghost serve !

A good serve can give you an edge over your opponent by making them struggle to return the ball or forcing them to hit a weak shot that you can attack. There are many types of serves that you can use. That's amazing. Thanks for your sharing. I'm practicing table tennis day by day.

Thank you for the overview. I'd like to mention, that your forehand serves from the backhand side are critical or illegal concerning the serve rules, as you don't remove the tossing arm as required, but leave it between the ball and the extended net plane.
Great compilation. You could perhaps split them into smaller logical groups and shoot them slo-mo. Thanks for sharing your talent.

Thank you! :) The one-bounce FH 'ghost' serve was not demonstrated because sequence-wise it is very identical to the multiple-bounce FH heavy backspin one. ;)
So many variations, so much backspin (ball coming back to the net) and the ball just clearing the net by a 1/2 inch, this guy must have put in hundreds of hours practicing serves.
I have been playing table tennis for 2 year but my servers are awful, i hope with this i can change my serves. thanks for the video.
@Wole58
3 жыл бұрын
Find yourself a serve which is useful to your game plan, and stick to it, and learn a few variations to add deception. A few exemples : If you favor forehand topspin loop, you can try a short/semi long backspin/no spin serve in your opponent's forehand, the returning ball will likely be in diagonal > in your forehand/middle zone. If you like to attack with no spin drives/low spin top spins, try fast long topspin serves to your opponent's backhand (generally weaker for right handed players) : if your serve is fast enough, you opponent will only control the ball/topspin weakly, and you can use that window to attack. And remember that having many serves is good, but to master one serve perfectly is better.
Do u use tacky racket and rubbers? OMG that spin
How do you get so much backspin? When I try to do any of these things the ball just moves goes forward like a drive then backspins on the opponents side giving him time to smash? Do you have any tips related to technique or does it come dowm to other factors like good racket, table and ball?
@paragontabletennis8555
3 жыл бұрын
I'll cover this topic in one of my next video but the important factors are: 1. Final contact angle on the ball and a backswing that supports that 2. Contact point on the racket (you shall avoid letting to ball into the center) 3. Momentum creation (Elbow-wrist coordination + rotation-in + weight transfer forward during the serve sequence) 4. Rubber's spin (yeah, it actually helps a lot, if it is grippier) 5. The direction of the racket's way (follow-through) after the contact (mine goes forward and a bit up, not towards the edge of the table - many players don't even have follow-through, they freeze their momentum right at the contact) I hope it helped a bit. It will be more visible in the video. :)

@@paragontabletennis8555 Thank you for your reply and that's understandable. It's really hard to get plenty of video lessons for penhold users, especially serves (not that I know of) since this playing style is not very common or easy to master. Nevertheless, this was a great video and I will definitely take some of these serves into my arsenal. My serves for pen-hold are usually side-spin, side-backspin and side-top spin and the occasion YG (Young Generation / Reverse pendulum ) serve. The hook serve that you do is a interesting serve to put the ball on the opposite side and reminds me a lot like Wang Hao's serve! Thanks for the video!
