Table for Six' is Back With a Chinese New Year Sequel
Sunny Chan Wing-sun's blockbuster Table for Six was originally meant to be a lunar new year movie, but plans for its release were thwarted by the fifth Covid wave in early 2022. It was rejigged as a Mid-Autumn Festival movie and placed a respectable fourth at the box office. But now Chan is back with a sequel, one that brings the movie to its origins as classic Chinese New Year fare.
