Love this sauce! People look down on it without trying it, but they are really missing out. The only problem is that is does separate a lot in the bottle, and then the bottle gets clogged, so you have to really put in the work to shake it up well before each use.

This is my FAVORITE SAUCE OF ALL TIME. I buy gallons or half gallons on Amazon every year. There is just no sauce that can compare to the balance of heat and flavor. I literally get my own bottles and have one everywhere. At work, at home, and even my parents house. This is literally the perfect sauce. I will cry and die if they ever discontinue it!

I for one tried this on wings and beef to add a bit of heat. Works well on rice too as long as you don't overpour.

@@Kaze. I literally put it on everything. Even Asian food. Some of my favorite stuff to eat it on is all kinds of sandwiches, Subway, burgers, any Hispanic food, and fried fish. You can put a ton on if you want it super hot or just a few drops if you just want a little kick. I smother all things with it.

Love, love, love this sauce. I've sampled more than 200 pepper sauces, and this is (oddly) my favorite habanero sauce. So many layered flavors, fruity, slightly sweet... perfectly balanced. Super sophisticated. The papaya, mango, tamarind and banana perfectly compliment the natural citrus of the hab. A woefully under-rated sauce.

Just recently discovered this stuff too, it's actually great!

I bought a bottle of this for the first time a few days ago. I love Tabasco sauce and I always keep a few bottles around, but like you I'd always written this one off as probably just being slightly spicier Tabasco. Was equally surprised with all the fruity notes. Makes me sweat too!

This is my go-to sauce, especially on eggs. At times, it does not pair well with other foods, most likely due to the “tropical” undertones.

johnny scoville and his son reviewed the scorpion tabasco sauce, i think it was a short run. I been wanting to try this habanero, think I'll pick some up soon.

I have tasted more hotsauces that I can remember, but this is my absolute favourite.

I eat it right as we speak but i was a bit disgusted, tropical and fermented is just a bit weird. But i still love having a hot sauce thats a bit weird. Will get the chipotle one in the future tho

Chili Chunn , yes! I’ve got there Scorpion and Family Reserve

I really like the that fruity notes are really mild in this stuff (I don't like banana's) it makes for a really interesting and deliciously spicy sauce. Starts off with a mild, pleasant sweetness then evolves into a nice biting spice on the finish. Been using it over regular tabasco since i bought the bottle. I overlooked this sauce on the shelfs for YEARS for no good reason tbh.

Same here. I was tired of the original Tabasco sauce as I just felt like I was just drinking vinegar and there are more flavorful hot sauces out there. I just picked up the Habanero Tabasco sauce and I was pleasantly surprised.

I'm not a fan of chilies/super hot foods, but I really love this Tabasco Habanero sauce. Very tangy and sharp flavours, with a very bearable mild burn, and no upset stomach (chillies usually wreck my gut, must be the fermented nature or combining of fruit purees that neutralise a lot of the irritant effect). Seems to go well with practically anything, from soups, to curries, to cheese on toast.

Discovered this Iike 10 years ago, and still to this day it is my go to sauce. It's just as good or even better than some of the expensive gourmet hot sauces. I don't even care for the other Tobaccos but they did right on this one.

Over 20 years ago for me. I think my first bottle of this was in 1999. I like it a lot for a few years, and so did my ex, but it wasn't my favorite. I quit using it around 2007 and rediscovered it. I don't know if they changed it or not, but the taste blows me away and it's a staple again. Only downside is how uncommon it has become; in the early '00s this stuff was in every supermarket.

@FuzedBox I agree it is uncommon. The last time I remember seeing it was in the 2010s, and then after that, I couldn't find it in the grocery store. I ordered 2 bottles off Ebay a year ago, and I'm still have 1/4 left on the first bottle. Try the Scorpion sauce if you haven't. Similiar flavor profile, but more heat. It's also hard to find in the grocery store unless you're in South LA.

One of my favorites, I wish it was hotter but it's definitely one of the best tasting hot sauces.

If you’re looking to try a new sauce, I’d recommend Palo Alto firefighters sauce It’s not an everything sauce, but I’ve found it really good on tacos and chili.

Nice review, maybe you could rate each sauce at the end of the review to give us a scope on how much you like it.

Always wanted to try this, my local store doesn't carry it though. Guess I could order some from Amazon.

I had never even heard of this hot sauce until a few days ago. Habanero is my favorite pepper so I got real excited because Tabasco is my favorite hot sauce. I know that they make a habanero hot sauce, my mind was blown. It is hands-down the best hot sauce I've ever tasted. I love it! Are there any hot sauces that you like better than this? If so, I would like to try them

i also thought it was a normal habanero but it smelled sweet and I realized its a jamaican style sauce, its a little hotter than normal tobasco and i prefer this version now

Still the king of hot sauce

Yeah I'm not a fan of the regular tabasco sauce, but this one is really nice.

Here in south africa there is this brand of hot sauces called Banditos and the Habanero sauce in their line up is the best sauce I've ever had. Today I really wanted to try this tobasco habanero after I saw someone holding it in the queue at a supermarket and I couldn't stop gawking at it. So I shoved out the 145 south african bucks and decided to get another bottle of my favourite habanero sauce from banditos for measly 35 bucks in comparison, same volume. The tobasco is hotter for some reason but it has a prominent garlic and onion flavour. Same reason why I tried sriracha once and then left the whole bottle to waste away. Too much garlic. It overwhelms everything including leaving a long lasting aftertaste.

This one does have some strong flavors apart from the chili peppers themselves which can be off-putting to purists. You might like sauces from PexPeppers as they're super-true to fresh pod flavor. Cheers, appreciate you watching!

It's pretty spicy! But it never gets way out of hand so you can still eat in mass quantities. Right in the heat sweet spot!
