    I really need an electronic load from time to time, but never invested in a decent one. This one looks interesting though, the cost taken into consideration. Great review as usual Tony :)

    Thank you Tony for the review and the look inside. I like the PCB adapter from binding posts to banana jacks, great idea for use with light loads. Regards, David

    Yes if you looking for a basic but powerful Electronic load, you get lots of power for your money. The KEL20xx series is also very interesting and a bit more advanced.

    WOW you have 5 loads you really are addicted. I have a Rigol, fits all my needs, and has an application for battery testing. i use it pretty often as much of what i work on runs from batteries.

    Thanks, yes the 'limited' space, holds me inline a bit... bigger lab means more stuff, now i am forced to make a selection and sell some. to make place for new funds and devices

    Thanks for your review! I'm using this device for one year now, mainly for battery testing. It has some bits and flaws, e.g. the printed manual is full of errors, the operation via the front panel is not intituive, you really need the manual for this. Nevertheless, regarding the price you get a valuable electronic load.

    Yes your comment is spot on... lots of power at Korad for your money, but not always that userfriendly in frontpanel, software a bit dated. but it all works and prob. for ages they way it is build.

    A man with 1 meter knows what the voltage is. A man with 2 meters never knows what the voltage is. You and I both have a lot of meters. At least we have cheap GPS disciplined freq standards. Josephson Junction voltage references aren't cheap.

    @@TonyAlbus, no need. I have several Vref cards that were pulls from HP lab multimeters, and I do contract work for the government lab that produces Josephson Junction reference systems. But we all seek perfection in precision for our own benches. It's in our blood.

    I like how you calibrate your equipment. Working with batteries trying to be within mV or mA is generally a waste of my time but i guess i should check accuracy.

    @@TonyAlbus Thank you. I just looked again. I see it on CPC and there is no link but when I went to the Farnell site, there is a small link to the software. Thank you for this. Do you think the Tenma unit is of the same quality as the Siglent load?

  • @TonyAlbus

    @TonyAlbus

    9 күн бұрын

    @@RemoteInstruments The Tenma is made by Korad, the Korad is good.. Siglent is better but the price reflects that also. But the Electronicload from Siglent is not their best product, what i mean here is. the software and device it self is not that developed like their scopes or spectrum analyzers. you could find it somewhat limited, with more effort is would be so much better. and then that price is a bit high. But if all your other stuff is Siglent, you would go for it for sure.
