The T10 bulb is one of the most common automotive light bulbs in existence! Some people think there's a big difference between T10, T15, 194, 168, etc... but the reality is they all fit the same. All you need to watch out for is the overall shape and size of the bulb! If you need help picking out the right replacement bulbs for your application please contact us! These new LED bulbs will be 50% - 200% brighter than your stock bulbs. These LED bulbs will cross-reference with and replace these original equipment part numbers:
T10, T15, 194, 168, W5W, 147, 152, 158, 159, 161, 168, 184, 192, 193, 2825, 912, 920, 921, 501, 259, 280, 285, 447, 464, 555, 558, 585, 655, 656, 657, 1250, 1251, 1252, 2450, 2652, 2921, 2825, 194NA, 658, W16W, 906, W15W, W5WB

Most people after a t5, are after backlight for gauges. The wrong style will cause blotchy light, or "hot spots". . . .I'd also like to add, that you should choose an led that will cast light into the reflector if applicable. A forward facing led will never put as much usable light out of a reflector housing, as an appropriately designed 2 sided led.

Thank you for the video. Very informative. Is there any danger to replacing a T10 5W halogen bulb with a T15 12W LED bulb? My car's lamp housing has space for the larger T15 bulbs, but I am worried the socket and/or wires cannot withstand the higher wattage.

The main problem i have with T10 dashboard lights is that they never have the light source in the correct spot, so the factory diffusers within the cluster no longer function correctly and as a result, you get hot spots and shadows.

I've run across the same issue. You have to try and figure out if you need a lamp that offers more light off the end or the sides and try and pick the one that would work best. It can get expensive in a hurry you end up have to try 5 different types. 😒

Those T10s will be able to dim down for the most part, with all LEDs if it gets to a low enough voltage they will just cut out. Glad you found this video helpful, let us know if you have any other questions!

@@HeadlightRevolution i actually got canbus reverse LED bulbs for my Hyundai Elantra X20 (08 model). Read some articles that it may affect the car but the thing is I’m not sure if it requires it to begin with as there aren’t much info on these cars. Hence I went with the ‘safer route’ with the canbus LED bulbs. To be honest no error lights on the dash and it works fine. More worried in the long run in terms of mechanics of the car etc

It is very important to me that when I reverse, my reverse light will be blinding people left and right behind my car. I rather then upgrading my T15s bulb in my reverse light into that GTR LED that is as bright as a headlight. I will be cutting off the socket and connect it to 2 very large spotlights that I then mount it on the roof top of my car. Just to make sure people from 10km away can see me and knows, "ah that guy is reversing his car".

Unfortunately, the only thing we will have that will fix that is adding resistance, and to do this you would have to figure out how to wire in one of these resistors: www.headlightrevolution.com/50w-6ohm-gold-resistor-ACC.RES.50W_2?quantity=1 Other than that, the only other thing I can recommend would be to try some of our bulbs, they might perform differently in that vehicle than the bulbs you have right now. Hi, I know LEDs are the best replacement/upgrade.. I just need to ask, I relplaced the stock halogen T10 3W on my bike's running light (clear color) with halogen T10 5W (amber color).. are the 2 additional watts on each bulb going to cause any heat problem with the sockets/base melting? the base are made of rubber. I'll replace them with LEDs soon just don't want the extra ones I have to go to waste. :) many thanks in advance.
