Mrs. Afton is not a bad person!😃 she misunderstood William and he misunderstood her for them both not acknowledging each other like they should. William was upset in the moment and regretted doing it but mind you, this is the 80’s, mobile phones didn’t exist. only house phones and such. he realized the danger he put her in and he really took it into account he risked her life and not just his career but his figure as a parent. he let her back in but didn’t do anything like that again to her. the reason they divorced is like this situation, Mrs. Afton cheated a 3rd time, yes 3rd, William isn’t aware of the 1st but Michael is, main point, she got *pregante* with her 4th child and left William so suddenly leaving him heartbroken and 3 kids to care for on his own. he tried to contact her many of time but she didn’t want anything to do with him as she said he was ‘moving slow’ in making a thing for himself. he took it a horrible way and ended up spending a few weeks mentally drained and depressed since he put a lot of time into trying to care for her and she didn’t appreciate anything he did. again, Mrs. Afton is not a bad person, she didn’t know how to just- not be a gold digger, good wife, and appreciate the little things. William is particular in dating so he wouldn’t have dated her if he noticed the signs early. he couldn’t let her go because of their kids either

Literally in my au my william gave birth to six kids and my Mrs knew about it, although they were forced to marry each other, even tho Mrs afton killed two kids will gave birth to. Henry's the biological father of williams kids except for Elizabeth she's Mrs emily and Mrs afton's daughter, also at first william gave birth to triplets two of them were born unusual, second he gave birth to twins which are charlie and sammy, last but not least he gave birth to evan/c.c. Elizabeth was born after charlie and sammy, that means in my au Evan's the youngest. In my au are only gay and lesbian btw.😄

William just wants what's best for his kids. He works long hours just to make sure that they have what they need and want. William's a great dad

Sure, Mrs. Afton shouldn't have done that. But William's being such a hypocrite. The reason she didn't talk to him for it is because she still wasn't able to trust him. That's his fault. He didn't do anything to make Mrs. Afton trust him. Being a father or a husband isn't about working and giving them everything they want.

he should have but at the same time. he purposely built a bond with them and she didn’t consider the fact of the position he was in was the reason he didn’t spend time with them as often. he still did but she found it ‘not enough’ when he would take a few hours out of his day to rest or spend time with them all, which is why William is so harsh on the kids actually getting along in the future. both are at fault because she misunderstood his intentions of trying to help them at the time since he was working more and he didn’t understand he was wrong for not seeing what he was doing and thought he was doing enough which is why he just broke down, his mental state wasn’t in a good spot for more than just this reason and Mrs. Afton on top of it not just understanding him made it worse. he’s at fault for the fact of not seeing it earlier and trying to fix it before it got out of hand, in his case though, watching the kids while Mrs. Afton is out and working while not being where he wants is difficult and stressful on him. she’s been with the man for years and didn’t feel the need to tell him her feelings because hw would taken time to consider that he was being a bit of an @$$h0le and not that good of a husband and parent. she wasn’t there for the kids that often either which is why they divorced and why he was stressed. he knows he can’t buy their love but at the time of working trying to create a business and struggling with hardly any help, he spent more time trying to build up their family so they could be happy and he could spend time with them. it’s common for him to pay the bills and had he spent more time off work, he couldn’t pay bills or have money ti buy groceries since Mrs. Afton didn’t work. more will explain but i felt like there was a small misunderstanding since not much on the past was explained😃 he built a trust and a really good bond but she never considered taking his bond and trust on a serious note since she mostly wanted him for the money and not the love in the first place, which is the only reason she got married to him. without the kids, he spent much more time with her and she would push him away at times and would pull him super close so he had a bit of mixed feelings which is why he was so angered that she couldn’t ‘trust’ him but pretended to that whole time enough to have 3 kids with him and not care for them on a respectable level. he would pay the bills and put money on the table and she would take care of the kids but he struggles because she half @$$ed being a mother and he didn’t say anything because he thought she was stressed and just needed time alone but it was more of she didn’t want just kids and a family, but to be rich

@@corruptez_ yep. like william said, she found him in a horrible state of life and instead of encouraging him to focus on his business, she wanted him to do all these different things at once like be a father but be a husband and be the main source of income and the emotional support for the whole family and this is why he’s so dull in the present time. because he focuses on what’s more important for the kids financially rather than emotionally because of her

it’s never been confirmed on the past of the afton’s. the point is this is an AU. not the real thing. i know we don’t know who she is but she most likely existed right? we don’t really know how william treated his kids, we just know he’s a horrible person in the games to other kids that aren’t his own
