In my opinion, TFT displays are much brighter than amoled displays and since this watch is designed for fitness tracking and GPS for outdoor workouts hence they decided to go with TFT.
Actually i planned to buy this,After i read specs TFT and NO call function in this price range not a good choice

It a Tank of smartwatch .... full beefy and rugged
TRex pro user... Battery backup is good and also sensors I'm using it for 1year 😊 I bought it for 8.5k on BBD... it worth for that price

ab toh price hi drop nh ho raha. black wala lena tha mjhe but in Flipkart it's out of stock and in amazon they're selling it for launch price.
Trex or active edge?
No calling features is understandable as a fitness product. But given it's price, no-AMOLED is such a deal breaker. After all it's still a smart "WATCH" and always-on-display always makes sense. I'm enjoying using my cheaper GTR 2 (New Version) with AMOLED, calling receiving feature(it's convenient at times), and internal storage also.
