വളരെ നല്ല എപ്പിസോഡ്. നാൻ 15 വർഷത്തോളമായി ഗ്ലുക്കോമീറ്റർ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്ന ആളാണ്, പണ്ടൊക്കെ കോഡ് മാറ്റണമായിരുന്നു. ഇപ്പോൾ അത് വേണ്ട. എന്റെ അനുഭവത്തിലും ഇതുപോലെ കുറച്ച് പരീക്ഷണങ്ങൾ നടത്തിയും ജോണ്സൻ ആൻഡ് ജോണ്സൻ ന്റെ one touch select ആണ് നല്ലതു. പക്ഷെ സാർ ഒരു കാര്യം സൂചിപ്പിച്ചില്ല എന്നു തോന്നുന്നു. വിരലിന്റെ അറ്റത്തു നിനെടുക്കുന്നതും കൈതണ്ടയിൽ നിന്നെടുക്കുന്നതും ചെറിയ വ്യത്യാസം കാണും. പക്ഷെ ഗ്ലുക്കോമീറ്ററിൽ കൈത്തണ്ടയിൽ നിനെടുത്തത് വച്ചു റെസ്റ്ചെയ്തു നോക്കി അപ്പോൾ ലാബിൽ ഉള്ളതും johnson ന്റെ റിസൾട്ട് തമ്മിൽ 5 മാത്രമേ മാറ്റം കണ്ടുള്ളൂ.ഇതു കൂടാതെ കുറച്ചു സമയം ബ്ലഡ് എടുത്തു കൊണ്ട്‌ നിന്നാൽ സാന്ദ്രത മാറ്റം വന്നാലും അളവിൽ വ്യത്യാസം വന്നുകൂടെ. എന്തായാലും പെട്ടെന്ന് ഹൈപ്പോ ആണോ ഹൈപ്പർ ആണോ എന്നറിയാൻ നമുക്ക്‌ ഇത് ഉപയോഗിക്കാം ...... നന്ദി

Hello mr.ter leenm, The entire episode was to demonstrate difference between glucometers and venous blood vs capillary blood. Yes as you said OneTouch gives good results but has too many variants in them leading to lot of confusion among public. Considering the advancement in technology and it's usability in day to day life we need to choose the most needed ones. That's a joint decision. Thank you.

Hello MR. JB Once we eat, our body secretes insulin in 2 phases. It shows that your insulin response is pretty fast and hence leading to reduction in sugar values.

Expired strips or contaminated strips shouldn't be used. There is no concrete evidence whether it will lead to high or low values
